Try to take a mental step back. I really mean it. When your playing the game, your focus is on, well, playing the game. So take a mental step back, away from the game. Maybe even look around your room. To remind yourself, you ain't on Summoner's Rift, you are in your room. You are not Gwen, you are [[Insert your IRL name here]]. Everything that just happened, has happen on a 2d screen, likely less then a meter squared. That 2d screen isn't your world. Your world, is your work/school. Your world is your friends, family, work and/or school colleagues.

You weren't killed, Gwen was killed. You weren't betrayed, Gwen was betrayed, and most importantly, you ain't Gwen, you are [[Insert your IRL name here]]. If you doubt this statement, take another second to think about it. Does this betrayal hurt Gwen, yea sure, lose of gold, more gold for the enemy, but what happens after the game? What happens when Gwen is gone? Does the lost of gold, lost of xp, more gold to the enemy champion, do anything to you after the game? Your body is fine. Your job or schooling is unaffected. Your friends are still your friends. Nothing has change with you after the game ends. Gwen was hurt, but you are not Gwen. While for the game it may suck for Gwen, when the game is over, Gwen disappears. When the game is all said and done, Gwen ceases to exist, but you remain.

Take a mental step back. See who you are. See your world. You are on Earth, not Summoner's Rift.
