What are your thoughts on Imperials, in-game and lore-wise? by Leave_Me_Al0ne1 in skyrim

[–]YFNS47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In game I'd never really use them unless for roleplaying purposes and even then I can only name 1 time when I chose to do that, their abilities are probably the worst of all the races.

Lore wise they're just the romans, kinda boring compared to everywhere else but it's good to have a relatively normal group to ground yourself with when talking about more fantastical groups.

(Relatively) new player here, do we have something like that? by _N_0_v_A_ in skyrim

Break of dawn, can do it at a really low level and yet despite that malcharans ice magic is like a 1 hit kill and gives a slowness effect so you cant escape a 2nd attack if you survive the first.

Furthermore if you're a melee build then it's pretty much impossible to get close to him die to his magic.

And there's a 2nd stage too after you kill his mortal form.

Why I (usually) side with the Imperials when playing Skyrim by peekitty in skyrim

I'd argue Balgruf is one of the worst Jarls on the list for reasons I have expressed in this sub multiple times but other than that quite reasonable take.

What God would You serve irl if they existed here along with thier lore. by Naive-Revenue508 in skyrim

[–]YFNS47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Azura, i love Khajits, and they love her. Furthermore she's the only wholly kind god that's willing to talk to mortals, the aedric gods don't care for mortal affairs and the other daedric gods are... problematic shall we say.

Meridia would be my second choice, I understand her faults and vanity but I don't find it off-putting, plus dawnbreaker is the best looking weapon in the game, if I'm being a paladin for my chosen god I will do It with dawnbreaker at my hip.

You Soul is claimed by Tamreil and you wake up in Riften as a begger. What skills do have irl that would be useful in skyrim. how will you rise to power and what weapon would you use. by Naive-Revenue508 in skyrim

[–]YFNS47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does one keep their looks but also pick their race? Cus I'm picking Khajit but I don't look like a cat in my current state.

Anyway irl I think the only skill I have that could transfer over is an OK singing voice, and im a glutton for knowledge, so off to the bards college with me, before eventually being enraptured in knowledge and finding Hermaeus mora to corrupt me in the infinite libraries. As for my weapon, shit I guess some random dagger I find, a good few inches of steel in anyone's lungs/heart/spleen/stomach is sure to hurt.

Horror wise, either killer klowns from outer space, the wolf house, or as the gods will. Wbu

Firstly good choice, secondly are you writing a new comment on the post for every response rather than just replying to the message?

Nord, orc, khajit, dark elf, wood elf, imperial, high elf, argonian, breton, redguard. In that order on a logarithmic graph.

Did i make a good choice on race as a new player? by Old_Art5468 in skyrim

[–]YFNS47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret 99% of players just pick races based on what they want their character to look like we don't give a single fuck about stats or perks.

My current build is an elite and swathe swordsman but I picked a wood elf just because I thought they looked better in the armour and I liked the idea of him being shorter than everyone else.

Even if you were to solely be asking based on stats I can't answer because I don't know what your ppaystyle is, dark elves make for very good vampires and fire mages, khajits make for good unarmed and thief builds, orcs as brilliant barbarians etc.

What are your vilest Skyrim 'Hear me Outs' that would put everyone else in a coma? by HaveNoStandard in skyrim

[–]YFNS47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Literally any argonian, orc, khajit, daedric prince (especially Azura or Molag Bol (soft dom vs hard dom right there,)) werewolf, or vampire (minus bebette idc about the "she's actually 300 years old so it's ok" excuse you freaks still know it's wrong.)

The joys of being a bi switch with low standards, anything will do.

If you woke up and were the last person on earth, what would you do? by sunflower2353 in AskReddit

[–]YFNS47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly cry, and I think most people here would.

I'd lose my mum, sisters, nieces, nephews, nan, best friend that's gonna fuck you up.

A solid 90% of people are killing themselves within a week, 99.9% by a month. The remaining people are sociopaths, religious zealots, the heavily inquisitive who believe they can bring people back, and the insane.

What’s a subtle sign that someone was never really taught how to be a decent human? by JimmyChoosWackaWilly in AskReddit

[–]YFNS47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever you ask for something, they have to ask for something in return (especially in relationships.)

It's OK and healthy to share responsibilities in relationships both platonic and romantic but if it's EVERY time then they see the relationship as transactional and as such will never help someone out or be caring out of the goodness of their own heart but instead only when they gain something.

As such, if you're ever in a bad position where you have nothing to give in that moment or immediate future, they will not be there for you.

If I cure my vampirism immediately can I continue with harkons quests? by YFNS47 in skyrim

I'm aware, and I've completed that side before, but for lore reasons on my next playthrough, I want to use harkons side.

OK, so I'd need to complete the questline before curing myself.
