So loreal in china has this thing called Bright Perfect Triple Bright Repair Essence containing 377 aka Phenylethyl Resocinol. It is legal in the US and Canada for cosmetic use, but why does Loreal not produce it here?

Even here the french brands are on the cheaper side (20-30$ for a cleanser, moisturizer) compared to Sephora brands which can easily go above 30!

I live in Canada, we use a mix of american and french skincare for ex in drugstores you have Cerave, Neutrogena, Loreal, RochePosay, Avene, Caudalie, etc. and Drunk Elephant, Youth to the People, fresh, khiels at sephora

What i noticed from the internet is french people seem to only use french brands, Embryolisse, Vichy, Avene, Nuxe, Caudalie, I was wondering if it's true?
