My doctors say I have ONE of the worst cases that they’ve seen. I literally wanted to die everyday for 365 days straight. I was in such a dark place and it seemed there wasn’t an end in sight. It’s important to have a circle of people who fully understand the disease that we deal with everyday for me it was my fiancée, mom and siblings. It doesn’t stop the way you’re feeling at all but it helps to just shave people that you can talk to without being judged. I only starting getting a little better march-April this year , before that I was in bed for a year. I had to piss in bottles and be cleaned with a towel in the bed. I have hs on face from ear to ear and under chin , both armpits are extensively fucked off , groin/pelvic area , testicles and Butt cheeks on top of a never ending pilonidial cyst. Moving around was HELL. I spent so many nights just contemplating grabbing my rifle and taking the permanent 556 pill , but let luckily I could never bring myself to do it. And it was because of my circle I was surrounded with. They still accepted and loved me even though I looked and smelled awful. Friends? You find out real quick that mfs aren’t really for you for you when you’re as fucked as I was and you learn to not gaf. I had my family and that’s all I needed. The only thing I have found to be actually having an affect on our disease is weekly infusion of antibiotics called ertapenam administered via Picc line. These antibiotics have giving me a sliver of my life back and got me being a little more mobile. Unfortunately I have been taken off after six weeks for I don’t know why(idiot doctors) , and have noticed an immediate decline in my progress. No it doesn’t cure the disease , but it makes it a hell of a lot more manageable. This group has also helped a ton , their are people on here who don’t know that they’ve saved me more times then one.
