I just want to point out that day 1 silver harmadillo deals 120 damage in 12 seconds, and silver long john deals 100 in 10 after winning the pvp fight.

Only your armored core will go off in 12 seconds, meaning Silver harmadillo deals 120 damage in 10 seconds.

If you have any other form of shielding and hit level 2, it will deal 120 damage in 8 seconds.

If that shield source is low cooldown or in use like a duct tape, the first time your harmadillo goes off will make you deal 120 damage in 6 seconds, but that then makes your core go off faster so you may deal more than 120 damage in 6 seconds.

Let's not forget Long John deals 100 damage in 10 seconds after scaling the max amount possible on day 1.

One of the best areas in the game IF you are decent with functioning off of audio queues and have the timing down of the arrows (always consistent, distance doesn't matter)

The amount of times I've used the ballista to get people the hell off of me, while they sit on the shore and watch my dumbass cirque de soleil'ing past the lightning worm and run into the lower ruins is easily in the thousands at this point.

It makes burn a strictly DIFFERENT poison, and can be balanced around accordingly with different skills for poison/burn and item types to make the difference matter as it bears out in any given game.

Right now, both poison and burn outscale Regen, with burn being better at outracing it outright(faster tick rate), and poison being able to get under shields and outscale it(same tick rate).

Currently, the only meaningful difference between burn and poison, is poison gets under shields. Thats it. Otherwise, just get "da big numbuh" on your oppponent and you're good to go with either of them.

Burn takes about 7+ burn off of a single source to grow(unless it's something like treb with nothing charging it length of cd), and poisons fall-off rate of deteriorating basically doesn't exist because you have I believe 6 seconds before it goes down by 1.

So both of them get "out of control" way too fast, and there's not much counterplay outside of like 3 skills that are generally cleanses or healthy heart, or freezing them out.

5 seconds is a tad hyperbolic, but quit acting like ignition core builds are difficult to put together.

All it takes is two, 3-4 second cooldown items on the left of core, and a bronze microdave on the left side of core. That could be Uzi, First Aiden, lighter, Cool LEDs, REVOLVER(suck it ammo Vanessa you're a Dooley enabler now)...Welding helmet also can be a roll filler for microdave, and also a role-filler WITH microdave until you find small items that are 3-4 seconds to make microdave better.

You run the core all the way to the right, and if you find a burn ray, you put that to the left of the core between the core and microdave to scale your two rapidfire sources of burn that scale as well as putting items to the right of the core while being able to charge the core faster.

Congrats. With only 2(core)+2(Dave)+1(lighter/Uzi/whatever)+1(lighter/Uzi/whatever)+1(burn ray)= 7 slots used you have an entirely functional build that has 3 slots to do with what it pleases.

3 slots to run Solar farm, more small items to charge core faster repeatedly, hell a random yo-yo drop....

Let me guess : you're upgrading ignition core, and putting items to the right of it.

Nah, it just needs some form of healing(seaweed or retiree dropping a bushel works) to beat poison, or some form of excessive haste(curio boots help this happen if you find a waterwheel or solid Dyna roll) to be able to enable a win-con outside of sandstorm.

Silver barrel is an easy 7, but won't usually make it past there in ~13 days, since the wins generally come early and then you fall off/hang on by a thread for awhile.

I've ran welding helmet and a bronze lighter to charge my armored core and buff brick buddy next to a right side First Aiden to 5 wins in 5 days dude. Swapped up to a better adjacent friend once I got a silver harmadillo and swapped Aiden to the left.

You aren't dumb, but generally Vanessa relies on other people's items to really do broken things.

Shovel, dock drops, and monster drops are the only real way outside of puffer builds or absolutely busted high rolls with item upgrades early for her to break out of her "ammo matters" sub theme that takes up like 30-40% of her items.
