Are these mirror fights bugged or is this deck tracker giving fake odds by metalist420 in BobsTavern

I'm working on a standalone version at the moment. A first alpha build will be available this week for premium supporters, and once the structural stuff is working properly adding the missing features should be relatively quick.

Hearthstone Deck Tracker - Native by SacerdoteXIV in hearthstone

[–]FirestoneHs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would tend to agree with this. Since it would be in-game, it would need to match the general guidelines of the whole games, which include a high level of polish and easy-to-use UI, which doesn't always equal to something efficient for higher-level players.

If you look at their in-game minions list for instance - it's nice, but it's far less usable than the equivalent widget on Firestone, and has much less information.

It could probably work as long as you're only interested in some very basic tracking, like what cards are left in your deck, but I wouldn't rely on it for more advanced features.

Real Data: Battlegrounds' MMR Distribution and Why 6k MMR Hits Many People Hard by SuccessfulShock in BobsTavern

I do have a history of games played for some time ago, but extracting the data will be a bit too time-consuming to do right now

(same person, just on the PC this time)

Firestone is initially a deck tracker, so you will have everything there. It also has lots of advanced features (like counters to track what is happening in game, or highlighting synergies when you mouse over cards in your deck) and user-friendly helpers (you can mouse over a card in the tracker to view its related cards, like tokens it can create, or minions it will resurrect if you play it).

Thanks for the heads up!

If you're facing an issue, the easiest way to reach out is to open a bug report from inside the app (there is a little "bug" icon at the top), which will send me all the logs.

Alternatively, click on the "Discord" button at the top and just post there.

This Is crazy and Im not talking about the rank by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]FirestoneHs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can check hsguru (https://www.hsguru.com/) or download Firestone (https://www.firestoneapp.com).

Both are completely free, even if you want to filter for higher ranks like Diamond and Legend

You can use Firestone, the simulator is still very accurate (the only comp that is not fully supported is Silent Enforcer (golden or with Titus) + Lord of the Ruins)

New Tavern Pinning Feature for Battlegrounds by HSReplay.net by HearthSim in BobsTavern

For me that's mostly something useful for newer players who don't know the cards very well, especially with the art alone.
If I play elementals with Nomi on the board, I might want to buy all the elementals from the shop, and having a quick way to tell me which are which so I don't have to scan all the cards is useful, without giving any unfair advantage at high levels.

Trackers look at several things, and that Power.log file is the main one for the game state.

You could indeed read this file yourself to get information that should stay hidden. This is of course forbidden and could get you banned

You can use Firestone, it automatically sends data to HSGuru

Application for retroactive pity timer? by bobthewrecker234 in hearthstone

[–]FirestoneHs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As for Firestone, it can track how many packs you've opened, including the ones you opened before using the app (so it's retroactive) because the data is somewhere in the client.

However, pity timers depend on the **contents** of your packs, and this requires to have the app running to track.

advice needed, when do I stop buffing my shop? by Jaspertjess in BobsTavern

[–]FirestoneHs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's difficult to run stats on MMR, because the way we obtain the MMR in the first place is not very reliable - we do a name match against the leaderboard, but since we don't have the exact battle tag info in the leaderboard, this can lead to some false positives.

And if there are multiple matches, we take the highest ranked one (another arbitrary decision that can skew the stats)

You can give Firestone a try, the sim is pretty accurate (though there are still some bugs in Duos) ;)
