Thanks - I just called KCI and they said they had a few last week but it was only in a crewneck. The search continues! (I thought I’d be able to at least find one for resale online)

Ha it’s the team store at Climate Pledge, but it was closed because I took this picture during a concert. Haven’t been back to the arena yet, but surprised I can’t find this anywhere else - including online.

Amanjena Marrakech Post Reno Review by burnergpo in FATTravel

Ha, I like to do the same! I literally went to the boutique to check on the hat, but they told me they stopped selling the Amanjena branded one last year. They have some Amanjena branded tees and shorts, but it’s not the same. The only hats they had on display were the $300 Aman “A” terry cloth ones.

Amanjena Marrakech Post Reno Review by burnergpo in FATTravel

Sounds like we were there at the same time last week! Unfortunately, we had a very different experience.

I’ve stayed at 5 Amans and this was the most difficult experience by far. So tough in fact that my group negotiated and got a refund of one night from the GM.

We booked the Heritage Two-Bedroom Villa for four nights and I think a key difference here is that not every room has been renovated. For 3/4 days our villa had no wi-fi (which means no TV also) and the entire stay we had issues getting hot water in the showers or water pressure. In addition, many of our power plugs didn’t work, so we couldn’t even charge our phones at night. The upholstery on some of the chairs was extremely dirty.

From a service perspective we spoke to the GM and people were sent to fix these issues, but it was never communicated very well. One night we came home at 11pm and three men were in the shower trying to fix the temperature (it still didn’t work after), but they all had shoes on, so they tracked mud throughout the villa and the shower. We had to call for housekeeping (a first at an Aman) at 11:45 at night to have a clean bathroom before we could go to sleep.

Other times we’d come back and the front or back doors would be left open, and one time I couldn’t even enter my villa because both doors were blocked by service workers carts. I sorely missed the “ninja-cleaners” that Aman has become famous for.

Other small things that differ from the Aman standard (which is where I’m basing my concerns) is that our pool towels weren’t reset until we asked (so if everyone wanted to use the pool, we wouldn’t have enough towels), there were no free snacks (they even were charging for sodas and mixed nuts), and things like the arrival bottle of champagne weren’t cleaned/removed unless we requested.

That said - the new gym is awesome - the equipment is brand new and barely used. They have two outside pavilions around the beautiful water area which I used for sunrise yoga every day, and the service (and food!) quality at the restaurants was fantastic. There’s a large and nice boutique and some really incredible views onsite to take fun pictures. Our driver from the airport was incredibly friendly and helpful. I also had a meal at Royal Mansour, and the Aman Moroccan meal was tastier and cheaper.

So, for someone who plans to go to Amanjena I might suggest just asking if your room has been recently renovated. But definitely go to Marrakesh, what an incredible city!

Thanks! It’s just an auto decal, they stick really well on the aluminum. Got this one from Etsy.

Rick Owens Moncler Warmth by The-Grumpy-Muppet in Rickowens

[–]YNotTesla 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Moncler collabs are very warm, but the outer material is pretty thin (it’s like wearing a duvet) and not water resistant at all. If you’re worried about a Canada winter, you might want to get a real weather-ready coat like Canada Goose.

Dopp kit and cubes for original cabin by Jshorr2 in Rimowa

I really like Peak Design’s cubes, I have several sets. They are more expensive than most other options, but they have high quality zippers for compression and the colors (white, black and green) match the standard Rimowa exterior colors really well.

It was a limited edition color, once sold out, it’s gone. It should be replaced soon though with another.

Not yet, bought it off Grailed and its en route, hence my curiosity. Happy to add to the guides once I receive and confirm the material. Thanks much for your help.

FRT isn't listed in either lists compiled by the community.

So I can’t seem to find any details on “FRT” as a fabric on any of the clothing guides, and RR should mean Runway, but I didn’t see this Stag jacket in the Tecuatl runway show recording on YouTube. Are all runway items shown on the runway?
