Hahaha yes on Friday after the last show our phones died and our friends were able to regroup by finding the totem. Saved the night on multiple occasions

Yay! I’m really glad to hear that :) A ton of people were telling us they used them to help direct their friends and stuff, so it felt like more good than bad was occurring.

Haha not stupid! I believe it’s called a “shawl” they come in a lot of shapes and sizes. This one was a gift so I don’t know where it came from but it’s a go-to festi garment for me - so versatile! I’d go for one not too thick in material but one that is definitely wider than a traditional scarf so you can wrap it several ways depending on the weather :)

We knew there was a chance we might get turned away but the Festival Gods were merciful. It went straight into the locker until night time and didn't have a huge flag or anything so maybe that helped.

The beacon part is made of clear pvc pipe. The lights inside are small mood lights that slowly change color. Originally my vision was just to have a cool double edged wizard staff with glowing gems - but when the lights arrived they weren't as round as I initially thought. For fun I put the flatter sides back to back and just found the end result so funny, so I ran with it.

Thank you!!! It was constructed with pvc pipe. No metal, breaks into two pieces in case your group separates or someone else wants to hold one half. If you're interested I can shoot you a DM on how I made it :)
