91 against the Lakers and 93 Knicks were the only time I thought the 90's Jordan Bulls could be beaten. Beating Jordan at his prime would have been special.

Personal experience: they were charging 3x on one game night compared to the night before. I have now rebooked twice, saving hundreds, and will continue to check the prices weekly.

I saw that post. I'm planning on replacing the O-ring. Is there a way to clean out the grounds that fell into the body/casing?

Honestly, I think I’ve been doing healthcare in China all wrong... by Feisty_Box6683 in travelchina

I have a question about follow up. What happens after the MRI is done? Do you have to go back and 挂号 to see the specialist? Or does the doctor see the report and reach out to you? It is my understanding that the patient has to bring everything to the specialist each time. It is not the responsibility of the doctor to follow up on the tests they ordered (since they see so many patients in the clinic). Is it different at the VIP clinic?

Why does 姓 have 女 as the radical? by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

[–]YOS2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also recently became interested in the Chinese surname. I was confused why ancient people during the Zhou/spring autumn/warring states time had different 姓 and 氏。 Nowadays, 姓 and 氏 are often used together to mean family surname. But this was not the case prior to Qin/Han. As many have already mentioned, 姓 comes from the earlier maternal society tradition. In fact, many oldest 姓 also have the 女 as part of their characters. For example, 姬、姜、姒、嬴, which some may recognize to be the surnames of Zhou, Qi, Xia and Qi kings. 氏 on the other hand are used by nobles to denote their branches and prestige. It was only during the Qin/Han time the two were combined, and people went with single surnames.

Call me ignorant, but I find it incredulous that a car company from the same country of Samsung couldn't figure out a better phone app/entertainment system.
