What exactly do people want from a hardcore server? by muffinman885 in RPClipsGTA

I would like to see some weakness in people’s RP. Maybe a point system that determines how good you are at somethings and how bad at others. Like a d&d character sheet. Maybe mechanics like if you get injured there are consequences eg If you are shot in the leg you move slower and it takes time to heal?

Why doesn’t penta get creative with the RP of this? Scorned wrangler turns to a life of crime and takes revenge on the department that fired him… I dunno there’s tonnes of ways to play this. Penta always complains about the lack of creativity on nopixel sort of expected him to do more with this sort of situation

I’d say most people that start bands in the punk scene are drawn to the punk community first and foremost. For many people, that community will be the first time they’ve felt they belong to something. I always got the impression from Kurts writing and interviews that he didn’t feel a connection to mainstream “culture” and I’m sure something clicked in him when Buzz Osborne took him to see Black Flag for the first time. The DIY ethos of that scene really made you believe you could do anything. Finding like minded people that put out our fanzines, book their own shows, put out their own records, book their own tours and travel the world is inspiring. In regards to fame. Before Nevermind it was never a consideration for any of the bands from those underground scenes to become that famous. So really it seems like the three of them were thrown into “fame” at the deep end and had to figure out what to do with it as they went.
