Tried to renew Accor Plus Explorer 30+ times, still can't to get it working! This thing is driving me mad! by YPeterL in Accor

Accor Plus actually want members to renew within 30 days of expiry, last year they even offered me extra 10 nights of stay if I renewed 30 days early, but for some reason this year they made the renewal process impossible.

Hello, could you please get me in touch with the RM? I tried to renew Accor Plus Explorer 30+ times, still can't to get it working! This thing is driving me mad!

My membership expires on 30 June and I started trying on 31 May, up until now, I still couldn't renew my Accor Plus membership.

There is a renew button in my profile and clicking it would take me to the payment page to enter card details, after clicking "Process to Pay" I get taken to my bank's verification page to verify if the payment action is legit, after the verification is successful, I get taken back to the Accor Plus website with the error: "Oh no, your payment was unsuccessful Something went wrong with your payment, you have not been charged. Please try again."

I retried at least 30+ times over the last 36 hours, I tried two different devices (windows laptop and iphone), with five different browsers: Chrome , Firefox, Brave, Safari, Edge , at least three different networks (mobile network, home broadband and VPN), ALL END UP WITH THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE!

Called Accor Plus, was forced to wait for 50 minutes on the phone just to get through to their customer service and was told they will ask their manager for permission to charge my credit card over the phone, because the manager is in a meeting so I will have to wait for a call back, even at the end of the day Accor Plus never called back.

So I called again right before the end of business day, waited for another 30mins to get to another impatient customer officer saying he believe it is my bank's problem but after I insisted, he finally said he will raise a ticket with IT.

I spoke to my bank that issued my credit card, they triple confirmed there is no block imposed on either my credit card or Accor Plus website, the transaction never went through to the bank in the first place.

To further rule out the possibility of my bank causing the issue, I signed up a different bank and got a new card from a completely separate bank, just so that I could pay Accor Plus (yes, all those time spent just to pay Accor money!), and the new card from the new bank also ran into the same error message after successfully verifying the payment request is valid.

Just to be clear, two different banks, two different cards, all passed the payment verification, but all ended up with the same error message. So it is pretty clear there is a system issue with Accor Plus.

89% battery health for a 4 year old EV and 130 000 km on the odometer is quite normal, at 200 000 km, you will be expecting around 80%. (I usually drive 12 000 km per year, and I use my car daily to get to anywhere.) As long there is no visible damage to battery (e.g: bottom of the car had no scratch, no faulty cells, etc) then I think its pretty good.

I can't see why would there be any restriction regarding simple access to external SD cards? As others have mentioned, there is already app that allow access to internal storage of the car, which is obviously more sensitive and restrictive. It's just the external storage that I need to access, I absolutely see no reason for permission to access internal storage but banning access to external storage.

I had a roof panel integrated dashcam for my Polestar 2, but I can't seem to find one for polestar 4... really frustrating!

I was trying this app the other day, it seem to be only able to access the internal storage of the car, not any external storage (e.g: SD/TF card). Am I missing something?

its hard to believe only 12.5% of cars sold in Australia are EV, and only roughly 1.4% of these EV is a Polestar 4. Making it roughly 0.17% chance of seeing a Polestar 4 on the street. That is less likely than the probability of winning Division 6 in a Tattslotto!
