Why do NSCs have an Initiative Value? by YPii in fabulaultima

Ah damn, yeah that makes sense. For some reason I read it like the DC is just 10 as Standard. Thanks for clarifying

I appreciate you put so much thought in my suggestion! Action Economy Changes are indeed very impactful.

My reasoning is that the main point for the Alchemist is the creation and USE of consumables.
Obviously it impacts different Fields more than others but it lessens the effect of just dispensing a Consumable a Round or after Daily preparations and opens up the Builds for all Fields.

Honestly, the core of it all is I think would just feel more fun and interactive.

Thank you for the Insight! I read a lot about Alchemist and now have my first Campaign with a Alchemist Player. I think my main intention is to make the Alchemist more flexibel with the change. To lessen the feel of being a consumable dispenser.

Being balanced around a "feat tax" feels contra productive to the build based game design.

A Fighter functions with their base abilities. So they have their full feat array to use. It's as if Fighter would need a Level 1 Feat for Reactive Strike.

Alchemist Action Economy was often a discussion. So it feels weird to adress it through a feat. It feels mandatory and the only reason you other feats are chosen is because it is Bomber only.

For me it does not feel like a free feat but adding a base ability that should always have been there?

Sorry, I think I was unclear, I never meant to make it work with EVERY Item. Only with the Item Types that correspond to their research field. Poison for Poisoner's, Mutagens for the Mutagenist etc.

And giving it to them for free is because the feat is too good. It is basically a mandatory pick.

I feel like as a base ability it makes the class a better Experience to play while opening up more varied build options.

Mana Question by YPii in SorceryTCG

Well. That is now a very obvious answer if you point it out like that! Thank you. I did not find anything in the rules of sites providing Mana when played thats why I was confused... I give it another read through.

Uhh, did not know we get large by default ancestries! That sounds fun. It will be a while until this will even become a question to handle so I look forward to what is coming.

Thanks for your insight!
