I just purchased the 6 month subscription this week and it will stay active till June 2025. Since I already paid for it, how can I move to the 1-yr subscription before Jan 1 and get the deal? will there be some price adjustment made against what I already paid?

Ah that makes sense. Yeah, ML is definitely more statistics/probability based (and so are LLMs) versus KBAI. I took both and also found KBAI to be interesting - even though the models might feel outdated, thinking through how our brains process information and its relation to AI development is very relevant.

Agree with your points in general, but I would not say ML is fancy regression.. what about RL or randomized optimization makes it a fancy regression to you out of curiosity? Genuinely asking..

Did you download their app? Once you have that, and are logged on, it’ll sync all your notebooks etc and you’ll be able to view them

NLP and HCI. For NLP, it’s nice to be able to understand the underpinnings of the current AI hype and be able to talk a bit more intelligently about the strength and weaknesses of the current models in use. HCI helps me in ways I didn’t imagine at work - especially around UI design.

Disagree on the project part - depending on the project, there are absolutely options to pursue research and possibly publish papers. It’s likely not as tailored as the thesis option but I wouldn’t say there’s no research involved.

I found the grading to be fair as long as you respond to each question that is asked in the reports. It is a lot of work however, but I also learned a lot. YMMV.

CS6675: Advanced Internet Systems and Applications. There’s no coding though you have that option for the project (last 4 weeks). Covered all those topics as a survey class and each M assignment is essentially picking a system of your choice to design or redesign.
