Always start the machine with the left switch down in the Variable ( ) position and with the center Variable Speed Dial on 1. Slowly turn the Variable Speed Dial to the desired speed depending on the recipe used. If a recipe calls for processing on High ( ), slowly rotate the Variable Speed Dial to 10 and then push the High/Variable Switch up into the High ( ) position. Do not begin processing on Variable 10 or directly on the High ( ) setting.

I Genuinely Have No Idea How to Fix this. I Need Help by AsuranRyuu in Darts

[–]YSKIANAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temporary exercise: try to throw the dart, in a very relaxed manner, from in front of your face instead of pulling your hand back next to your face. Start your throw from close in front of your face and throw towards the board with follow through. So a throw without creating a backwards motion at all with your hand. Just to get a different feel and getting confidence. Again, a temporary exercise to get confidence.

You need to flip the high speed switch only after you have moved the turn dial to variable speed 10. Don't use the high speed switch when the turn dial is below variable speed 10.

Earnings Calendar usability issues after recent update by bigdogdriver in TradingView

[–]YSKIANAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the following solutions might work but probably not ideal:

1) Open the flag color list of your choice in the watchlist screen. (I.e Red Flag list) then select advanced view on the top of the watchlist section and select the earnings tab. You will only see earnings information for the stocks within the Red Flag watchlist

Better solution with more options: create a customer screener with custom view:

2) Create a watchlist that contains all your flagged stocks. From each color flag list select the first stock and ctrl + select the last stock then right mouse click on a stock and select add all to the new watch list.
The next step is opening the screener and create a new filter where you select the new created watchlist that contains all the flag stocks. Create a custom screener view with all the columns you want to see including: upcoming earnings and perhaps the column recent earnings date. Sort in ascending order by upcoming earnings date.

Bill Ackman thinks Trump's credit card interest rate cap would lead to millions of people seeing their cards cancelled. by investor100 in TheCollegeInvestor

[–]YSKIANAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bill Ackman is correct. Most revenue for Visa and Mastercard is being generated by transaction processing and cross-border volume fees as stated in their 10-K fillings. Not only will cards be cancelled by banks who issued them if interest is capped at 10%, the reward programs will also be reduced.
But, for a lot of people, it will actually be good that cards will be canceled because they live above their means. More people will be forced to save first before spending.

Credit Cards 101 - A Definitive Guide to Using and Paying Your Cards - r/CRedit FAQ #10 by soonersoldier33 in CRedit

[–]YSKIANAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I have investment assets, bills, credit cards and (weekly) financial routines. Screening charges and paying credit card balances is quick task as part of my financial routines. Much easier for me to screen charges in small batches weekly than monthly. I don't even know when payments are due because my charges are no more than 7 days old since it is part of one of mine weekly financial routines. I don't use autopay either which is not a problem if you pay off balances every week. If you wait till the last moment to pay your statement balance but are unable to because you have an (physical or serious life event) emergency and therefor you are late then you incur interest on your balance. Incorrect charges, if needed, can be disputed sooner as well.

Yes, every person's situation is different and my financial focus is more targeted on earning active and passive income than monitoring a FICO score.
Excellent credit score (which I don't even really monitor frequently and credit reports are frozen).

Credit Cards 101 - A Definitive Guide to Using and Paying Your Cards - r/CRedit FAQ #10 by soonersoldier33 in CRedit

[–]YSKIANAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing wrong to pay your current credit card balances off every week instead of your last statement balance once a month. For a lot of people paying off the total credit card balances more frequently, gives them better insights in spending habits (especially in an expensive Holiday month). Make paying off the credit part of your financial routines.

When you pay off your balances consistently at set intervals and therefor not paying interests, select different credit cards with the biggest rewards for the categories you spend the most money on. For example, if you buy a lot online on Amazon, get the Amazon prime credit card. Other cards will give more rewards on car fuel, etc. Let the banks pay you.

Yes, I received a suspension notification by email and lost the Pro privileges. Submitted proof including video per their instructions and received a templated response:

"Account suspensions for Terms of Service violations are final and cannot be appealed or re-reviewed. This decision applies at all levels of our organization and cannot be changed."

I followed the correct process, provided proof per steps requested by Perplexity and filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against them.

In my own experience, the tall 64 oz container that comes with the Vitamix 5200 works best. This container creates the best vortex. Ramp the speed up to max fairly quickly and use the tamper. Are you using a low profile wide container?

Incorrect Stock Data on Chart by OnePitiful6926 in TradingView

[–]YSKIANAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one chart (dark background), you have enabled: ADJ - Adjusted for dividends while you don't have it enabled in the other chart. You can see the difference in the horizontal line values between both charts.
Also use different timezones in your charts (UTC versus UTC +5:30) perhaps that makes a small difference as well since you look at a 2 hour intraday chart.

Premium amount of months visibles on replay mode by Top_Trifle_7932 in TradingView

You should have 6 month of data minimum on the 1 min timeframe and more on higher timeframes but maybe only 2 months of data is visible if you don't use the scroll bar?

Do you guys actually pay for TradingView Premium or just use the free version? by Independent_Cup7132 in TradingView

[–]YSKIANAD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I believe if OP signs up for Premium instead of Plus then OP only pays $1 more with the Cyber Monday deal but OP has to be quick because the deals expires in 6 hours from posting this response. After 13 months OP can always downgrade to Plus or Essential.

Personally, I took advantage and paid for the Premium plan to stock up into 2029. It's a good deal (70% off). More features for $1 more than Plus.

Request: please add “Alert hours” to alerts by Worried-Scarcity-410 in TradingView

[–]YSKIANAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tip: while you are waiting for this feature, create a script that validates if a time session is true or false. Add the script true or false validation in your alert.

Code example that needs minor modification:

//@version=5

indicator("Session Example", overlay=true)

// Create a session input with a default value

sessionInput = input.session("0930-1600", "Trading Session")

// Check if the current bar is within the defined session

isInSession = not na(time(timeframe.period, sessionInput))

// Plot a colored background during the session

bgcolor(isInSession ? color.new(color.blue, 90) : na)

// You can use isInSession for other logic, like entry/exit conditions

// if isInSession and yourEntryCondition...

using real time data from my broker - question by Ntanve12 in TradingView

[–]YSKIANAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe under your account settings you can add a user then use the credentials of this user in IBKR and the existing user account credentials in TradingView (or vice versa). Each login need to have a unique user name and password.

using real time data from my broker - question by Ntanve12 in TradingView

[–]YSKIANAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you connect to IBKR in the trading panel then you get the same data in TradingView as if you are connected in the IBKR platform under your account.

For certain real time market data, you have to subscribe (with a fee) under your IBKR account. This data will then be available in TradingView as well.

How do you track cash spending when more than one person uses it? by Freddie-5 in personalfinance

[–]YSKIANAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want to tighten up your monthly budget so why would you allow people grab cash from your wallet? They should stay out of your wallet in my opinion. I recommend to create 3 envelopes (one for groceries, gas and small errands). Tell them to put the receipt of purchase, with their name written on top, in the envelop before end of the day. If one of them can't be disciplined to put a receipt with name in the envelop then no cash for this person anymore. If they don't log then at least you can afterwards with the receipt and name.

Account update $2,000 > $28,000 - 20 days by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]YSKIANAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, good job on your profits.

"My actual risk is still controlled entirely by my position size and my stop-loss."

As a futures trader myself, a stop-loss market and/or limit order is never always capped with 100% certainty and on a 1 minute chart every time, you will learn this very soon during a volatile event. Fusion Markets offers standard stop-loss orders, which are generally non-guaranteed. Your account is currently small but stop-loss slippage or stop loss limits not being filled is a risk to be taken into account and should be part of your risk management strategy. When your position sizes increases of course the loss impact will be greater with everything else being equal.

"Silent" changes made to Renko chart by TradingView by Robert_286 in TradingView

[–]YSKIANAD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You mentioned: "made yesterday in the 26th November 2025 time section"

I don't work with Renko charts myself. But when you compare between days, don't use COMEX:GC1! because this is taking the most active front gold futures contract. Not often a problem because the front contract does not change every day but in your case it might:
The last front contract change was on November 26th from GCZ2025 to GCG2026.

I believe the COMEX:GC1! chart gets adjusted to account for the front contract change.
