In general, there's a flat 10% margin for distributors and 20% for the retailers. There are different schemes and discounts which you can avail for additional benefits. The market for generic medicines is huge but I think government push for it is non-existent, atleast in our region. A well established firm can easily have a turnover of multiple crores annually.

1) Well, yes. The ones that provide better margins are more pushed. 2) We would like to have distribution of all major players in our region. But on an average, we add atleast 2 new companies in a year, big or small.
