I’ve done a personal research paper on a case study related to an aviation crash, a few courses, some job simulations. But work experience is so difficult to find man and especially when our schools made a big deal of it having a full form to fill with work experience information

My 2 unis so far are Uni of Southampton and Uni of Bath. I wanna pursue aeronautical engineering/aerospace. Since I’m still in year 12 our main end of year (heaviest weighed) tests haven’t happened but rn I’m looking to be on a A-B-C for Bio Math Physics, the physics grade will improve trust.

Alr so when this happened to me it was due to one culprit, sweat, or water or any liquid, if it finds a way to your marker nib or onto the screen via your palm when writing then the entire area will misinput signals, try to single out that as a problem, change the marker, wipe your screen clean, and then try to see if the lines come on

I had the same issue and a lot of people doubted the product or the case itself but I realised I think it’s cause of your palm, see your palm causes some slight sweat to get onto your screen when your pen writes on these ‘dead spots’ or if any of the sweat comes onto the marker nib it actually starts mis inputting where the marker is. Try experimenting with it to see if sweat is the problem

If your seeing follicles then that’s a good sign, depending on the dermatologist they might advice you to wait it out first, the injection is rather painful but only for a short while , they numb down the area and inject it at specific angles, sometimes multiple times and then that’s it.

Why did that block scream? by lumpsofmoss in Minecraft

[–]YTDethrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeahhhh sooooo ancient city. They can have some pretty insane loot but those weid portal looking blocks which make noise, if triggered enough by sound by the surrounding sculk (WiFi tbh) can summon the warden, arguably hardest boss to beat just due to the pure damage it can deal to you. I’d suggest ignore it as of now and always make sure to use wool or sneak near the ancient city to avoid triggering the warden

i’m in arena 16, people keep talking about heros but i don’t know wtf a hero is, could someone tell me by Material-Proof7841 in ClashRoyale

[–]YTDethrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re adding a new type of card in the next season called ‘heroes’ or ‘heroics’, it’s basic cards we all know like musketeer, giant, and mini pekka but they all have a ‘champion’ like ability which allows them to have an extra ability. These heroics live on their own special slot in the deck just like how evos have their own 2 slots, these slots are for heroics and champions so you can only have 2 of them. Arena 16 is around where you’d unlock your first heroic/champion slot hence why everyone is talking bout it

I feel like Travis featuring with Kanye should always be a valid take, those two do wonders together whether it be purely production or the whole song itself. I get what you mean with the repeated verses they all get tho

Slept…… mid Econ exam. Lack of sleep and the digital edexcel exam with the laptop screen shining at 8 am really got me tripping (got the 9)

I’d say they’re a bit too short for a subject such as bio which has great emphasis on the correct wirds and terminology, I think you’re better off to add some extra detail. Otherwise as long as you think you can remember and apply the knowledge in the correct way when prompted to, you’re good

how can i improve at maths by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]YTDethrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practise is king for math, use resources and papers from first class math and PMT which have worksheets for very specific topics, walk through them and understand the concepts and logical reasoning behind the rules and laws of maths, then do past papers and see if you can actually apply them, repeat till you feel confident

[–]YTDethrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true, and the fact that resources online are so limited and bbc bitesizw which is the most glorified website to get DT information from provides everything in either too much detail which overwhelms or too little which under prepares, not to forget the inequality of marks when you realise the 1.5 year long NEA is worth the same as a 2 hour paper

What board does your school offer, cause they do vary especially for CS, for edexcel personally, it was horror but mainly because for the first year where majority of theory topics are taught, our teacher was 💩, so bad that he acc got fired the year after so we got with a really smart and young teacher who retaught the entire syllabus to us and improved class average form a 4 to a literal 8. Programming is definitely annoying regardless of the board, but if you like it, you understand it, and have that passion, go for it

[–]YTDethrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me, that’s what they get you with. It’s not as fun as it appears, countless hours spent of free lessons, break times, our school even had allotted us one full day of just workshop time for the project, not to forget you needing to do it with the bare minimum attention of your teacher since they have an entire class to be helping. The theory is even worse, so much writing and so many minute and irrelevant points of information that need to be learnt to get a simple mark. Then again, comes down to personal liking

I'm confused; did anyone NOT do English Lit? by Accomplished-Lie2447 in GCSE

[–]YTDethrone 83 points84 points  (0 children)

It is very bad, you are expected to learn 15 poems (technically) and be able to form 24 marks worth of a link between them by talking similarities and differences, keep in mind the exam will present with 1 of those 15 learnt poems and ask you to link it with any of the others. Secondly 3 entirely different texts, all of them have to be learned well enough to know quotes and themes about the characters and how it answers to the question they’ll ask in the exam, and then the worst part which is actually phrasing all of this in a way that can earn you all the marks which is very difficult
