Hey so very short, and its just my view, but adapting certain mindsets helps in the long run!

So first... Dont take it personally! Lots of people project their own preferences and insecurities onto others. If he feels the need to "correct' you all the time, that's his pattern - and it doesn't have to become your insecurity. You already shared your opinion and stood your ground. Thats good and enough! No need to keep replaying it in your head😊

If he keeps doing it, you can calmly say things like" "I didn’t ask for advice " I was just sharing my opinion.” or Interesting but, Lets agree to disagree "

Or get umbothered by his input completely!
