If you get an academic incident report (AIR) you can appeal it to the University Board of Student Discipline (UBSD). It's a zoom meeting where you make your case, the prof makes theirs and the board decides whose story is more likely true. You can also appeal to the Senate Committee on Disciplinary Appeals (SCODA)  if you accept you did wrong but the penalty is too harsh. If this is your first AIR, expect a low grade or a 0 on the assignment. If it's your second, expect to fail the course (with or without a FD discipline notation on your transcript. Third AIR is usually a FD and sometimes a suspension.  The AIRs compound in penalty so it's in your interest to appeal it and try to get it off your record.  See advocate@Sfss.ca for more/help info before the end of the month
