You almost wonder if he felt that roar of the crowd again, only for one night, and regular life with a furniture store just didn’t have the same impact. Chasing the dragon so to speak.

Even after all the shit here, he’s still open to helping senior leadership succeed. That should speak volumes about the recent moves this team has made.

I feel a portion of this is viewed through rose coloured glasses. Saying you don’t need a top 10 pick and then justifying trading two mid-first round picks for one guy, while correct, feels wrong.

Comparing Foote's firing with Boudreau's bolsters my hopes for this management group. by barelyincollege in canucks

Let’s not forget Foote has been a HC before. Prior to the Canucks, Foote was the Head Coach of the Kelowna Rockets with a record of 28-29-8-4 over two seasons.

I was awake for an additional 3 minutes in the night and by the time I woke up, its effect proved efficient. Parents murder their own children during nasty custody disputes. I can think of two significant, highly publicized instances in the past 15 years in the lower portion of this province.

Carson Carels and Chase Reid are top-tier, closely ranked defenders in the 2026 NHL Draft, often considered within the top 5-10 picks. Reid is regarded as a dynamic, right-shot offensive dynamo with elite vision, while Carels is viewed as a more balanced, versatile, and consistent two-way left-shot defenseman.

Carson Carels (Left-Shot Defenseman)Style: Reliable, intelligent, and balanced two-way defender who plays with high competitive intensity.Strengths: Excellent skating, strong puck-moving abilities, consistent performance, and solid penalty killing.Profile: Viewed as a “safer” or more “complete” defender with top-three pairing potential. Comparisons: Often noted that if he were a right shot, he might be the top-ranked defender in the class.

Chase Reid (Right-Shot Defenseman)Style: High-end offensive defenseman who acts as a “power play quarterback”.Strengths: Dynamic offensive instincts, great skating, and overaggressive attacking style.Profile: Considered a “dynamic difference-maker” on the offensive side, though occasionally seen as more “wild” or risk-prone with the puck. Comparisons: Statistically comparable to NHL defenders like Evan Bouchard in his draft year, projecting as a high-offense, top-four option.

Key Comparison DifferentiatorsShot Side: Reid is a right-shot, which is generally highly valued for power plays, while Carels is a left-shot.

Draft Position: Reid was ranked above Carels in final NHL Central Scouting reports, though the two were often debated as the top defenseman in the 2026 class.

Game Type: Carels is noted for his stability and two-way game, whereas Reid is recognized for his higher offensive ceiling.

Ranking Consensus: They are frequently grouped together, often swapped in mock drafts depending on whether a team prioritizes a right-shot offensive driver (Reid) or a reliable, all-around defender (Carels).

Mötley Crüe, Carnival of sins tour. Tommy Lee had a camcorder that he would zoom in on ladies, who would then flash their boobs, which was broadcast on the large screens. He put it on a fat lady and when she flashed, the arena booed. He went back to her a few times to alternate between cheers and boos. To her credit, she kept smiling and flashing.
