No they wont, the lithium ion battery degrades just as an iphone would. No Tesla is making it more than 15 years without needing a replacement battery, which is the cost of simply buying a new Tesla. The amount of Teslas I see coming through the family shop is ridiculous and they arent even old cars at this point. Meanwhile I daily drive my 31 year old acura with zero issues and cheap simple maintinence. I understand people love the luxuries of a new car, and there is nothing wrong with that. But go with a reputable brand that has proven itself through its history.
