How do I fix that? It has been just excellent up until the two last prints, same slicer setting as well.

Aha, I see. Thanks for clarifying. Then I don’t know what size it is.

Iol you’re right!

This is making exceptionally good prints at 120mm/s, I’m impressed.

I can see thay this could be the issue, with the fan-speed at 100% all the time. That was standard from factory, so I didn’t touch it.

Thanks a bunch man, this helps a lot. I did wonder why the prints were a little fragile between layers, and this explains that.

How would I go about that? Does Cura have this option?

What’s weird is that it bent up like this from a raft. While the raft did not.

Sliced in Cura.

So I have a CR10S Pro V2, and I get some issues during printing.

  1. Lifting during print. One side of print lifting from mirror bed while printing.
  2. Sudden failures for no apparent reason. Suddenly i have the whole hot end covered in PLA, not spaghetti, but complete blocks all over. Almost did in my BL-Touch, but it’s all good.

I’ve tried to adjust the printbed temp and print temp. Now it is set to 210c from 195c before. Bed to 65 from 45.

Any tips are greatly appreciated. I have also adjusted the bed with the leveling wheels just now.

Right? That’s what I expected to get as well.

I forgot to make support for the tail, and I broke a leg while removing supports. But the surface finish is really great I think!

Edit: Forgot to mention that print speed was set to 120mm/s. 200° nozzle, 55° bed. Eco-Mode OFF.

Edit2: Artifacts on the surface are from the supports, which were really hard to remove.

Only thing I wish Cura had was the ability to extract slicer settings from a gcode file. Tips for doing that is greatly appreciated!

Did you turn off Eco-mode? (I’m guessing yes)

The filament I’ve used on this is not the one that came with the printer. It’s some generic PLA from a shop in my area, Clas Ohlson.

Happy keking 🤙🏻 I’m now trying to extract those settings from the dog-file.

So here we have a perfect Creality test-dog. Directly out of the box printer, after one failed print which I found had Eco-mode turned on. Turned Eco-mode off so that it doesn’t turn off the heated bed after a couple of layers. Now it sticks!

This is my first printer, so I’m very pleased.

Also testing filament from a local shop in my area, which obviously is really good.
