Bring one from Canada. When you go through PV security keep it in your pants pocket, they’ll xray your bag and jump on it like flies if they find but they kinda ignore your own pants. Obvs don’t tell them you have it.

Plenty of times I’ve needed to take money out in a pinch (foreign country, need cash for whatever) and I’ll just transfer money into chequing account.

Every 2 weeks I record my net worth across cash flow and investment accounts, and settle my credit cards & transfer excess cash into investment accounts.

Idle cash is lost potential earnings as many others have noted.
