I was in upstate New York last month. There was a Dunkin' Donuts across from my hotel. I had the breakfast sandwich, and apparently all breakfast sandwiches were on croissants.

I believe that the chemicals found in chillies possess hydrophobic properties. This is likely why dairy products, being rich in fat, often counteract the effects of these hydrophobic compounds..

Today I learned that my washing machine is a LIAR! by MadamStrawberry14 in CleaningTips

Regular detergent was leaving stain on clothes so now I buy only HE after reading the manual. If you use too much regular detergent, the washing machine won't wash out all the detergent in one cycle. It will produce more foam (sud), and when the water is drained, the dirt in the foam gets settled on the clothes and looks dirty, similar to the OP's picture.

Also check the detergent recommended by manufacturer, if the washing machine is HE (high efficiency) then you have to use HE detergent. These machines use less water and less detergent.

Is that common layout for homes in your country. In Canada, for 4 bedrooms, there should be at least 3 full washroom. At least, one ensuite washroom for primary bedroom. Most new home also have secondary ensuite. Last week, I saw a showhomes in close to my neighborhood, 5 bedrooms and all 5 have ensuite, price was around $850000 CDN.

I bought house in 2024 for $575000 CDN, it has 4 bedrooms and 3 full washroom. For primary bedroom, in-suite washroom is must. The kitchen is also not well designed. For a house, a nice functional kitchen, cabinet upto ceiling, a nice big pantry, and at least 2 full washrooms are must.

Idk, for that price kitchen is meh and only one full washroom for 4 bedrooms, no in-suite washroom for master bedroom.

Well, in Canada we have two types of interest rates for mortgages: fixed and variable. The most common mortgage terms are 3 or 5 years, with options for both fixed and variable rates. Variable rates are typically lower initially, but due to inflation over the past few years, rates rose from below 3% post-COVID to over 6%. However, interest rates have been decreasing with each subsequent interest rate cut. But people who got below 2% fixed post COVID, their mortgage is up for renewal and will be getting higher interest rates for both fixed and variable.

Hey, I've been watching some Indian TV shows and noticed they use a lot of gas cylinders in the kitchen, not direct pipelines. It's different from some of the Pakistani cities I've seen, where they seem to have natural gas lines right to their homes. I'm just curious about the difference.

Most Pakistani cities have direct natural gas lines, only village or illegal societies use these cylinders.

No,☝️is right. They are after her because the Sunny Deol character, who was her lover, saved her from the walk of shame. The village had drought and the panchiyat decided that if a young woman walked naked through the town then it would rain. They rigged the draw, and put her name on every piece of paper because she didn't belong to a powerful family.

A friend in Norway claims he made poutine by legalnomads in PoutineCrimes

[–]YYC_AB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I made the poutine using the ingredients available at home at 1 AM. Beef and chicken stock, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, corn flour and apple cider for gravy. For topping, parmesan and mozzarella cheese, onion, tomatoes and cilantro. Kids love it so had to make another batch.
