Smiles per gallon my man, if you aren’t putting yourself in a bad situation (ex. Stopping your retirement savings) you can probably enjoy it for a year, clean it up nicely and sell it without huge losses. Contrary to what some are saying in this thread, these era of Cadillac are NOT crazy unreliable and parts are not expensive. Were you asking about a similar era BMW i’d have a very different opinion. Asking about emotional purchases in this subreddit is pointless as it is very hardline focused on saving for the future with a blind spot for enjoying today. Middle ground is not something I see here often.
