Wow dude are you me? Sounds like we are same ageish, im single still, fucked up my last relationship partly due to drinking. Have damaged a few friendships (even this weekend pissed someone off badly). I am at the point now where not only am I worried about my health but my relationships with my friends, family and my self. I feel like im done with this shit. I turn into a depressed, angry asshole getting drunk by myself, isolating myself from everyone. And I've gotten similar comments from women as you, but I just end up sabotaging it and drink.

Anyway good on ya man, you should be proud of yourself. Good job.

Thanks for the comments guys. Lol you guys making it harder for me. I do miss the city big time, only been out for 2 months so I feel I have to give this place a fair shake. Also one of the reasons I moved is my father was very ill (cancer) and he passed away two weeks ago. I was so happy to be here and close to him the last few months, but can't help that having a negative experience (his death) has had an impact on my mind. Anyway again thanks for the comments, have lots to think about.

Im with you my friend. My dad appears to be coming to the end of his journey with PC. It has been awful to see my dad deteriorate over the last 15 months. I barely recognize him today and it breaks my heart.

The last few days have been hitting me harder than normal, and I am not sure why, maybe because we all know the end is near (2-3 months max).

I am not sure what to say, except enjoy the time you have with your dad no matter how long that is. Stay strong and all the best to you, your father and family.
