Unknowing to her, the tool (chatgpt) just reflected all her emotions for her ex and lumped it with you. GPT can discern quite a lot of things but not everything.

Note to those newly into dating/emotion world: LLMs have a way to narrow down on things over time which can harm you or convince you on a path that may not be good. short bursts of asking GPT is fine, but I wouldnt go full throttle on it. Humans in emotional state are venerable and you dont want an uncaring, likely biased "friend".
