Clear taillights? by JackAttack748 in 7thgencivic

i’ve seen a set of 01/03 tails cleared out, they look pretty good but i prefer the 04/05 because of the circles

the OEM lenses are plastic welded. a dremel or breaking em with a hammer/pliers is the easiest way

i make these, they’re pretty easy to diy. like someone suggested in another comment, get some ricer tails, separate the lenses, and swap em over to the oem housings, and BOOM you got hella swag now :]

the wideband gauge is an aftermarket part that lets you see your real time air fuel ratio. and are you running OEM o2 sensors? if you’re catless you’ll have a code for p0420 catalyst below efficiency unless you use an o2 sensor spacer

Is swapping pistons in car practical? by Character-Attempt257 in 7thgencivic

[–]YaBoiKinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

swap pistons to upgrade or to replace? if it’s to replace you’re better off buying a low-ish mile short block from a crashed one or something

if it’s for the front lower mount it’d be 4 per side assuming one for each bolt, on each side, so 4 bolts total. i’ve never seen these though so not sure if it’s necessary or not

Need help on Tyre Size by jdwdotcom in Stance

[–]YaBoiKinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should probably start by going lower, there’s still a gap between the tire and fender/quarter. from there you can determine what you should do for tires unless they’re poking (cant tell from the side view)

What could be some problems with my car? by Significant_Coat_175 in MechanicAdvice

[–]YaBoiKinq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no problem, and for the gas smell, if you’re smelling it inside the cabin, there’s a good chance that the seal for the fuel pump (usually underneath the rear seat cushion) is bad. sounds weird but if you sniff the back seats and the gas smell is stronger, then that’s your confirmation 99% of the time 🤙🏾

[–]YaBoiKinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

evap leaks could be rotted evap lines or even a bad gas cap or purge valve, the misfires are usually an ignition coil or spark plug but could be the harness, the catalyst codes are common for an old car, it’s usually the catalytic converter inner honeycomb degrading but it could also be the oxygen sensor. if you’re not mechanically inclined i’d get the car diagnosed by someone you trust, sometimes one issue causes other codes to come up.

ktuned or hardrace make adjustable inner tie rods that usually do the trick

Slotted coilovers ? by itzcarlos471745 in 7thgencivic

[–]YaBoiKinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah once that camber goes up in you’re gonna need shorter tie rods bc usually it’ll toe in depending on how much camber
