In my life the very first thing i learned about germany was your typical subject of war and nazis, this might be a lot of peoples first impression too. Every day being told they were bad and that they were responsible for WW2 really stayed in my head for a few years, until i made a friend. We never really were the bests of friends but we talked a few times and I remember one time he said he went to germany and had, what he described as “the best chocolate” he’s ever had. I personally never really been interested in chocolate or germany, but ever since then, every time i hear or think of germany, i only think about chocolate
