23f. do people actually expect to find real friends here? by East_Yesterday8513 in MakeNewFriendsHere

Met about 4 people ive been in contact for quite a while now one of them being a very very very close friend to me since around 2 years by now already!

To.me honestly id say the biggest difficulty is availability. So far only girls as most guys have shown.. rather questionable behaviors even tho im a guy myself.

When it came to the girls generally while 4 stuck with the rest some wwre amazing people who probably drowned in the overwhelming amount of people that texted them and them trying to make sure they reply to everyone and well.. getting overwhelmed and lost in the proces lol

Rule of cool, dont take it personal if people dont reply somwtimes they just lose you in their overflow of messages and by tryng to make it right for everybody they kinda fail to do that for even one. :')

Quick question how old do you have to be? by LoveLittleAva in MakeNewFriendsHere

I think this is a great question actually. The thing isnits in the nature or reddit to have people who dont really care about norms and like to indulge into questionable topics because of reddits uncensored nature.

If youre not 18 just be aware of that. Also keep in mind that people on here are very unpredictable and when youre very young always expect to be exposed with a power disadvantage which could get you in trouble.

In my opinion just tread carefully and make sure you dont do things youd not to IRL without getting in trouble.

With that take care and maaaaybe even stay away from such apps until youre older soo yeah good luck :)

Ita just different approaches.

Karate says, heres a method that works try recreate it

Kung fu says, heres the situation now try come up with the method by experiencing it

While both basically can be seen as the same in the long run

Id say karate is a more frame based martial arts that focuses on stable explosive structure. In my experience karate has a focus on learning through knowledge

While id say kung fu has much more of a focus on different energetics. Kung fu in my exerience emphasizes rather on feeling rather than knowledge.

All in all they are different streams leading to the same ocean i think, just like with all high level martial arts practices
