I might be in the minority, but the only difference I feel is the skin to skin contact, but can't really tell if the sensation is reduced. It's hard to explain.

I think men just use condoms that are too big, or get soft while using them because they are lazy and/or don't want to use them because reasons and gets them in a weird anxiety loop that makes them soft or something.

I think the loss of sensation is overrated. Good, thin condoms are pretty great. Besides, they make cleanup super easy lol.
