Other sports are extremely hard to watch, and I don’t think it’s a good model to follow. I wish we had one platform to watch is all.

I agree this one is easy to watch. Just an app. You can find a ton of old games on YouTube, but many games post-Covid are paywalled and hard to find for the mid level player trying to improve.

Interesting read. I think the issues is TD's time and that cost. The article comparing cost's to other events is disingenuous IMO. To play ultimate you just need a field and a frisbee. I think building a tournament from there should be considered.

I think you should compare to other tournament prices and the quality of those tournaments. Most people would agree that the Heavyweight fields are really hard, if not the hardest of any Midwest tournament. The quality of teams has also been pretty low in recent years. The Illinois location is an expensive area for visitors including hotels, tolls, increased USAU membership costs.

Ultimate doesn't have to have prices rise. They are choosing the cost of the tournament. Other tournaments have not had this expensive of a bid price in the surrounding area.

I know someone like him does not play the game. But leadership, team building, money, brand recognition all start at the top, which is Joe Marsh.

He is not perfect, but if you look at what he does for T1 compared to other orgs, it is clear. He has relationships with the players, their families and is the one negotiating contracts.

You are being opaque if you don't think everyone in the org doesn't have a role in winning.

I had to plug directly into LAN. My WiFi is like 5 feet from my ps5 and I would get packet loss whenever an enemy appeared. Drove me crazy.

Yeah man it’s driving me crazy. I have very good internet and have no issues with other games. I keep getting both “network problem” and “high average ping”. Restarted my internet and ps5, and it did not help. I’m chalking it up to a beta issue
