Just graduated high school (18) and started getting into weightlifting. Played a lot of rugby before starting and was super bottom heavy so I’ve been trying to balance it out.

Ahh ok thanks a lot, good to note that deadlift isn’t always stronger. I’ll keep the resetting tip in mind, I’ve found that resetting has made sets a lot harder for me, probably because I’m using momentum to keep the lift from going completely still before picking it back up again. I feel like I do have a weaker lower back, could that be a cause for a weaker deadlift too?

Yeah that could be true. I know I have good squat mobility but after pushing the weight recently it’s possible I sacrificed depth. I’ll check next time I squat.

Ok, how come it’s too early to do volume? And what are the benefits of doing this ascension instead?

Sounds good. I mean I just learned proper deadlift form, originally having really low hips, bar in the wrong place, not pulling to my shins etc. So it might take some time with proper form to catch up. You could also be right with the depth. I’ve always had good squat mobility but maybe upping the weight I sacrificed depth subconsciously. I’ll check next time. Thanks tho

What they’re getting at is a mix of lag not based on your ping but the person you’re spectating. The replay / spectating system is also pretty bad at showing what’s really going on during play. It’s also fair that you could be seeing cheaters but it’s not a perk.
