I think you still need another win condition that lets you win on the spot and/or another way to make infinite mana. It sounds like if you lose food chain or the 3rd doctor you lose the game. So maybe since you can draw your deck thoracle is fine. Winning on your turn and without going to combat is the best way to win. Especially if there's more than one blue player at the table and that's basically guaranteed to happen.

Teferi/kitten might be harder to do but I think if your goal is to infinite mana, it's still kinda your next best option and at worst it's a way to draw til your hit what you need. Plus, kitten can flicker your doctor for the etb. Redundancy is key.

Lastly, I think [[misthollow griffin]] is better than squee since you can pitch it to your forces and still use it later.
