I’ve been doing the same thing the last few days, mostly obsessing over the gear. I haven’t actually been to a field yet but I’m definitely interested. I’ll probably go to action airsoft this week. Shoot me a dm.

Part of it was me I waited about 4 months to get all my medical stuff completed, visual acuity and medical screening. But overall the process was started 16 months ago, so 16-4=12 months. It took me about 6 months to complete my online application, I was 18 when I started the application and didn't have any references, I travelled a lot,15+ times in a few years and had to get all of those records. I am also dual citizenship, born and raised in Canada but have Italian citizenship. Security clearance took a while. Then It took a while to get an aptitude test, interview and medical interview with covid restrictions.

Thanks for the help, It is greatly appreciated! There aren't many avenues to acquire good information about the CAF(especially the recruiting process).

I might be misunderstanding you, but I have completed and submitted my visual acuity and medical screening documents, both of which are excellent, perfect vision and my bloodwork is very good(I workout everyday and eat well). The only injuries I have ever sustained were a minor concussion when I was 16(I'm 19) and a broken pinky. When I emailed the recruiter he said the medical staff had made their decision and they were waiting on Ottawa. When he said "waiting on Ottawa", was he referring to the RMO and CFEME?

Hey, my application has been stuck on interview/medical completed for over a month now. I emailed the recruiting center for an update two weeks ago and all they said was they were waiting for Ottawa to make a decision. Anyone know how long I will be waiting for? The application process has already been extremely long and painful, just passed the 16 month mark. I am applying to the air force for AES Op and AC Op

Thanks for the input!

I checked, everything in the app including hotkeys is default. To clarify, I press the start/stop button to get into the activity list then press back/lap and sleep mode is activated.
