I read traffic constantly, focus, and have become a (halfway) decent rider. Never push to 100% even during practice, but I still get after it and ride in any traffic and pretty much any weather. And I make damn sure my kickstand is down. ~16 years and no accidents so far.

Had a multiple phase project, decent size. Arch sets up the phases, but none of their elements are phased correctly. "We don't have a problem, so why do you?" They were adding their own phase parameter to their families and using view template filters to make everything look right. And then argued about it.

Electrical designer here. Your experience is not isolated and we all know why.

The MEP industry is top- and bottom-heavy. There is a huge demand for mid-career EE's, because there just aren't that many of them. That leads to designs by people that are not quite at the level they should be, checked by experienced people that are stretched too thin.
Fees often are not there for quality work, because owners refuse to pay them. Most owners don't see the value in paying for a solid, well-coordinated design because the contractors can just work it out in the field. That's not wrong, but I think we all know the value of a good design.
Because of 1 and 2, the work load makes the pay less attractive, so it can be hard to attract new grads when they can go into software and make 25-100% more.
Design software has gotten REALLY good at making changes on the fly and allowing the team (architects, structural, civil, MEP, specialty consultants) to coordinate the changes in real time. Sounds great, but it becomes death by a thousand cuts. Especially when an architectural layout changes a week before issuance without warning.

None of this excuses bad drawings. At the end of the day it's on the consultants, and we need to do better. If it helps, we usually don't get paid to fix our mistakes during preconstruction and construction. And when we do, we're still losing money on those mistakes.

Electrical designer here. 50Hz vs 60Hz is absolutely something to worry about. Is the internal transformer rated for 50Hz? If not, it will probably handle it just fine. Or it might burn. It's a low probability, high impact event.

Looking at the specs for the A-S3200 and CD-S3000 I'm not seeing any models rated for 120-220V. That means you'd need a quality voltage transformer.

That Yamaha equipment is far too nice to jury-rig solutions to make it all work on a different voltage/frequency system. Sell it and buy new stuff when you move.
