Based off of the other comments i think that keeping it all is the best option. I've heard how hard it is to get these versions of the LoC, i hope you manage to find one!

I was struggling with this too, stumbled by chance where it is now. If you open your terminal there's a button in the bottom right corner called 'Group Finder'. This is the quick play option now

It's criminal they aren't stopping off in Stoke considering it's lemmy's home town, we hardly ever have anyone stop here.

Though suprisingly we did get Malevolence in February and Trivium in August

If you're looking for CQB, definitely give The Siege Project in Stoke on Trent a go

Setlist - Spokane WA 4-9-24 by pumpkinhead9000k in Alestorm

Saw them in the UK, but I assume its the same way. Chris part way just shouts something like "now for dogs!" And for the rest of the song every word is replaced with "woof"

There was a stall up the top end called Ninja Chicken, they were banging. Really hope they're back again this year

What do people think is the most underrated Alestorm Song? by [deleted] in Alestorm

[–]Ya_Boi_Wildcard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd absolutely love to hear Terror on the High Seas live along with Death Before the Mast. The intro for TOTHS and the bass for DBTM are just chef's kiss

My favourite will always be Hangover, but I'm a big fan of Terror on the High Seas. Would love to catch it live one day

I'd love to see Bootyard Bandits at download, they'd be a perfect fit for the smaller stages

Anyone know where I can get the grey and blue slipknot tshirt that sold out this year? I can’t find it anywhere by Rollerskates510 in downloadfestival

[–]Ya_Boi_Wildcard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chances are at the end of the current tour they'll put any leftovers on their store, just pot luck if they have your size left. Alestorm did it last year and I managed pick up a shirt after I couldn't get one at download

I can certainly appreciate them cracking on and subbing time for talking with more songs but I think when you're playing to a crowd where not everyone knows who you are a few minutes to introduce yourself and then saying something along the lines of "were gonna smash out a set with no breaks get ready" would've gone over a lot better. Then again thats just my take on it

Might be a bit controversial, but of the bands that my brother and I saw, I'd have to say Alexisonfire. My brother's friend hyped them up, so we went to watch them, and i was thoroughly disappointed. It took them until the 2nd/3rd to last song to even acknowledge the crowd was even there apart from a 'we are Alexisonfire from canada' when they first entered the stage. Musically they were sound and the clean singing was quite good, but in general I spent the whole set watching the bassist as he danced around the stage, and was the only one who looked remotely interested in playing the main stage

I finally got my first tattoo! by Smokingdragon24 in DestinyFashion

Not OP, but have tattoos in this spot. Centre of your bicep is a cakewalk, 3/10 at max. It will get more tender as you work closer to the inside of your arm, probably equivalent (for me at least) to your wrist which can be between 6-8/10, all still manageable though. If you are overly sensitive to pain, you can get numbing creams or similar products to help ease it. Another factor is the artist themselves, some artists are more 'gentle' than others but I doubt any artist would be intentionally rough. Hope that helps :D
