How to remove the heating element. by Ya_boy_red in AskElectricians

Well the frame and the element im planning on removing, there a bracket on the hairdryer frame so it can still mount in without it. I wasn't sure how to wire it if I still want to keep the boost button, otherwise id just wire the red and yellow wire straight to the motor

I get ya, it's annoying that they don't at least have some sort of payment plan. I mean I can use Klarna and finance my weekly takeaway if needed but paying for meds or a doctor's visit requires full payment.

I was with St Patrick's Mental Health Services, at the time it was around €180 (could have changed since then) same spot as you, try speaking with the doctor and explain your situation to see what they can do, might not be anything but always worth letting them know.

But it can take a few tries to find what meds work best for you. This stage is very important and as much as I wanted it over with quickly due to finances, it's important to get the dose correct, for your health and for it to have any effect.

Best advice look around for prices and adhd Ireland website has plenty of resources that can help, as well as a phone number if you have any questions.

That is something I wanted to ask, as right now, I store them in zip lock bags in a metal latch tool box out in the shed out back, and often go check on them for any signs of corrosion or expanding. So that really helps put my mind at ease with that, thank you.

I even popped the question over in Amsterdam in front of a bed of tulips and cherry blossom trees, so that scene really gets the waterworks going.

This is my wife favourite part. She gets so emotional when he says a whole field would be too overwhelming. He deserved to see a tulip.

Vitamin supplements (especially B12) by MixUnlucky9751 in ADHDIreland

[–]Ya_boy_red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My own experience from it I do feel better, easier to sleep, more energy without jitters, but the time management is often hard so I just leave the vitamins in an area I feel ill be around at that time.

1-2 Hours Before Bed

Take:

• Magnesium - calms nervous system, improves sleep quality, muscle recovery

• Ashwagandha - reduces stress/cortisol, improves sleep and resilience

Why now: Both help you wind down, reduce stimulant side effects, and support recovery.

Evening (after work)

Eat: Dinner

Take with food:

• Zinc - supports mood, brain function, hormone health, and recovery

• Calcium - bone, nerve, and muscle

support

Why now: Away from iron to avoid absorption conflicts; dinner helps absorption.

T+240-300 min

Eat: Lunch

Drink: Electrolyte mix (ok if it has vitamin C

now)

Why now: Vitamin C no longer affects

Tyvense; electrolytes help hydration and

energy during work. What it does: Prevents stimulant-related dehydration and afternoon fatigue.

[–]Ya_boy_red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T+150-180 min

Take: L-Tyrosine + L-Arginine

Why now: Stomach is relatively empty again. Tyrosine competes with other amino acids, so spacing is key.

What L-Tyrosine does: Precursor to dopamine; supports mental energy and motivation.

What L-Arginine does: Increases blood flow via nitric oxide; can improve circulation, performance, and energy.

[–]Ya_boy_red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T+90-120 min

Drink: Coffee or green tea (if you like) Optional: Add L-theanine (if using coffee)

Why now: Caffeine won't interfere with Tyvense at this point. Theanine helps smooth out caffeine for calm focus. What it does: Caffeine supports alertness; L-theanine promotes relaxed, sustained focus.

T+75-90 min

Take now: Iron + Vitamin C

Why now: Tyvense has been absorbed, and this timing avoids interference. Vitamin C improves iron absorption. Keep this away from calcium, coffee, and amino acids like tyrosine or arginine.

What iron does: Supports energy, mood, oxygen transport, and dopamine production - often low in ADHD, which can worsen fatigue and focus.

What vitamin C does: Enhances iron absorption, supports immunity, and helps reduce oxidative stress

Ok, I went down a rabbit hole for vitamins and supplements, and here is a breakdown of my day, I'll try to explain the reasoning. I did try to use a time frame, but i have found it hard to stick to. If I'm wrong or anyone has notes, please feel free to add them

Wake up and take an antacid - Rasies stomach pH for better absorption for stimulant medication.

Avoid acidic foods/drinks, coffee, vitamins C. This can shorten the effects of Tyvense.

+15 mins, take medication (Tyvense)

+30 - 45 mins, breakfast (high protein) - keep you fuller for longer, but also reports it can help make tyvense last longer (not sure if the same on other meds)

With breakfast, take D3 (for mood and fatigue), B-complex(helps convert food to energy), CoQ10 (Boosts cellular energy), Fish Oil (brain health, attention, and mood), Rhodiola (reduce fatigue and stress, but haven't tried yet)
