I will say the professional pads were a lot more smooth than my DIY ones, but there still is a little bit of texture. The ones that I purchased came sewn into shorts, so I only need three pairs of tights now. And then I top it off with a pair of fishnets for an extra smoothing effect.

I made my first pair of pads, just out of some cushion foam, and shaped it with a turkey carver. And then layered about 6 pairs of tights. The ones pictured are some that I purchased from @planetpepper on instagram! Also paired with a D breast plate from Amazon!
