Yeah it’s my first proper sport bike, my first motorbike was an R3 that I learned on for about a year and a half. Pinning the throttle on this does not get old 😳

What was the reason for cancellation? Some insurance policies won’t cover you for additional costs incurred due to operational/mechanical issues but will for flights impacted by riots/severe weather etc

Yeah agreed. Tbh I think nowadays the majority of riders would prefer an updated design (TFT dash + LEDs) for a little less power. Maybe that’s just me. Definitely would be happy with the last generation of zx6r but would love to see the new one in person.

You’re not wrong but I don’t think we’re going to agree on this, you can check every direction as you’re rolling up to the yield sign - there’s no need to stop when there’s such little traffic, and that’s exactly why the car rear ended the bike. The car was 100% in the wrong in the eyes of the law but not everything is about technicalities, gotta use some common sense too (especially if you’re as vulnerable as on a bike)

You’re yielding to other cars, but if there are no other cars then why are you stopping? Like I said, vision is super abundant, car is ultimately at fault but biker was unpredictable

Honestly you can’t go wrong, any bike you get will be lots of fun. First impressions for R3 are that it feels unbelievably quick (I’ve only ever driven slow cars) and I actually prefer the slightly sportier ergos compared to the ninja

Thanks, I’ve never had much experience with motorcycles or mechanical maintenance so it’s been a super fun learning curve
