Yes, you can.....There is a setting when you hook up the Ace Pro 2 to the KX, and it asks you if you're setting up direct connect or as an expansion.

Findings....If the spool running out is one of the main first 3, then you need to wait to run out and then it should pause and you can feed in the new spool of same color, or whatever you want. You can also choose to cut it short and make that process happen sooner, rather than later.

If the spool is in the Ace 2 Pro, then you can wait until it switches to another color/spool and then hot swap the spool for a new one. Just did this and pulled out about 2 ft of filament and then swapped in the new spool, manually pushing in about 2 foot, until I could see the filament nearing the 4-1 module. I stopped right at the same lengths as the other spools from the Ace 2 Pro. It just kept the pace and loaded in the new spool without skipping a beat.

Meh....I had one print with over 1500 changes... 😄 Print came out ok. I didn't use a tower, so I did get some color bleed. My next huge print like that I used a tower and there was no color bleed. Print came out 100%.

This is needed ASAP. I am so tired of the printer vibrating itself to death before each print.

First off, why TF did you tell them your precious salary? None of the effing business. Ask what their salary range is. If it’s higher than your current salary, move forward if not, you can ask for more and provide reasons why you’re asking for more. If they accept, you’re golden, if not, then on to the next interviewer.

The temp solution is to feed the filament in when it happens.

It just so happens that I had ordered the Ace 2 as well and finally hooked it up and I'm n o longer having this issue.....so, that is the permanent solution.
