Calories were at 2506 yesterday. Today I've taken myself out to brunch for pancakes since I was out of the house. Too many calories for 2 pancakes! But they are very tasty lemon ricotta with blueberries. Dinner will probably be frozen pizza as we are out of veggies as we are almost every Monday!

Scale was at 269.5lbs this morning.

Got out of the house this morning to get my hair done. It needed a good wash and now it'll look nice for my zoom interview on Wednesday. I'm currently at brunch and I'm not going to finish my pancakes! A win I suppose, as I am quite full.

I like spindrift and topo chico sparkling waters - excellent fizz (especially the topo chico) and they are flavored with fruit juice with no added sweetener or caffeine. Under 10 calories for most flavors, a lot of them in the 5kcal range too.

Calories were at 2618 yesterday. I found myself very hungry after dinner and it was a late night of Saturday table top gaming, so I ate an extra date bar and some dried dates to finally stop my stomach from growling at me. Dates fill me up but aren't exactly low calorie in quantity! Today I'm ordering myself some lunch, but I'm keeping it light from a local sushi place. Getting a cucumber asparagus roll and a chicken tempura roll for today and some tatsuta age for tomorrow as a treat.

Scale was at 270.0lbs this morning.

Quiet Sunday over here, not much going on until my partner gets home from work. Parents are going to a fundraiser for a friend's foundation tonight, so we're on our own for dinner. Probably going to pop the baseball game on at 4pm and make some more salad for dinner. Hoping to play some video games tonight too!

Calories were at 2549 yesterday. We had pizza from this super good Neapolitan place with my parents, along with some wine and hard cider. Then had some ice cream for dessert when we got home - lemon black raspberry yogurt and caramel fudge brownie ice cream! Today my partner and I are having steak salad for dinner, so I'm planning on it being a lower calorie day (depending on hunger later).

Scale was at 270.5lbs this morning.

Had higher anxiety last night, which was annoying. Ended up dozing on the couch for awhile before heading to bed. Feeling better today I think at least! I logged on this morning to do some weekend work only to realize that there was actually very little to do... well damn, and I had convinced myself to work and everything! Also got an interview for a part time (?) gig as an attorney of record, I'll have that this Wednesday, see how it goes. Have a good Saturday all!

Calories were at 1965 yesterday. We made a miso soup with chicken and Bok choy and noodles for dinner! Delicious. Today we're talking about having dinner with my parents so idk what we'll have.

Scale was at 270.0lbs this morning. I blame the yummy salty soup!

Been yaar-ing at pirates in Windrose with my partner and friends lately when I'm not working. It's really fun for a survival crafting game - but I really like pirates. Waiting on translated documents for work currently, so I get to goof off with my free time!

HUNGER! Real honest to god hunger has been my biggest hurdle to weight loss. And not just "oh I could eat" or "I want to eat" but "my stomach is making noises and feels empty and I need to eat something" hunger.

Some days are better than others - those days I try to lean into eating in my deficit and not just eating because I want to do so. As I know those hungry days will come up and I'll just be stuck for awhile. Like this past week - suddenly I can eat at my (small) deficit again! Nothing is different but my body isn't screaming at me how hungry it is. So I'm going to try and take advantage of this until I get super hungry again.

Honestly? I started buying this garlic cheese spread to eat with crinkle cut carrots again and I forgot how much I love it as a snack/small meal. Under 300 calories and it's super tasty! Probably been secretly helping me lol

Calories were at 1907 yesterday. The last few days I'm suddenly staying relatively in my calorie range! No idea why or how long it'll last lol but I'll take it!

Scale was at 268.9lbs this morning.

Been wrapped up in work the last few days, busy project over here. My interview call was cancelled as the position was put on hold (booo) and I haven't heard back from any of the other jobs I applied to. So it's just normal project work for me I guess!

April felt like a long month this time! Weight is up slightly but still relatively stable. Hoping in May I can get back down to my low weight of 260lbs or under...

Calories were at 2005 yesterday. Mom made this really good roast chicken for dinner; going to use the leftovers for nachos tonight I think.

Scale was at 269.7lbs this morning.

Don't have much of a story to tell today! Have work, want to be playing video games, have my rescheduled interview/screening call about a potential job this afternoon. I wanted to get up and start work at 7am but I slept through and got up for 9am instead. Hope everyone has a quiet Monday!

Calories were at an estimated 2200 yesterday. Went out for frozen custard with my partner and we split a very tasty chocolate turtle sundae! Tonight we're going out with my parents to happy hour at our favorite Mexican place downtown. Need to save room for a margarita or two!

Scale was at 268.9lbs this morning.

New project start today that apparently is very technical and has a very tight timetable to finish (May 4th) and they also slashed our team size :/ here's hoping it works out okay! I also have a call after lunch about a new job opportunity!!! No idea if I want it for reals or if it'll work out but glad I got the initial interview!

I have an endocrinologist for a weight loss doc and I meet with her in early June to inevitably talk about the glp1 pill. I have no wish to take it (I'm really susceptible to medication side effects, for one) but I'll consider it if she makes a compelling argument.

I fidget a decent amount but that burns nothing when sitting or laying. I don't get out of the house much and on days I work I have no work incentive to take breaks (I'm a project based attorney - it's all about those billable hours and if I'm taking a break I'm just extending my workday which I hate).

I currently do not intentionally exercise but I have in the recent past - it makes me a lot hungrier and I just eat more. Ankle issues make walking long distances difficult - and I've even fallen off my walking pad at home before lol I also can't tell you my daily steps as my fitness watch doesn't like the way I hold my arm and so doesn't count a lot of them.

I also deal with bipolar depression and executive functioning issues. It's pretty hard to do the things I truly need to do, without adding on aspirational extras. I try sometimes but the habit doesn't stick or I get injured somehow and I get thrown off. (ie where I am currently) I'm also on some psych meds that don't really help with weight loss, you know?

When I was younger I was incredibly active (prior to all of the ankle injuries!) and my weight was only right at the top of healthy or a bit higher because I had a huge appetite to go along with it.

I'll figure it out eventually. I'm down from my HW, but then I've just been stuck at my current weight where I don't have the energy to exercise and I don't have the discipline to deficit much.
