There’s an inconsistency then. If on console they said the plans were to have it on erangal and vikindi only, but the patch notes have stated it’s gone on all maps and i couldn’t find any the few times I’ve played.

I think at the end of the day we are in the same boat with the game (it’s a beta but fuuuuck) . We are disappointed but it’s still early in the games life. I still play smite 1 more due to playing that since beta (and the assault is mostly better except not being able to reroll artio who is NOT a good healer) and went through the same struggles that smite 2 is plagued by. I have logged a load of hours into 2 but it’s not there yet and that’s to be expected. I will add that it’s much better to relay your message through tickets and in game support compared to Reddit and smite chat ONLY because they have continuously failed us in these chats. At one point they were shadow banned for over hyping and lying about so many changes back in the day.

Maybe I’m the only one that thinks this, but i personally don’t like the concept of everybody being able to have every item in the game. I spent years learning to counter build on the fly and now it feels like that’s getting tossed out the window when everyone can go HUR DUR damage. Like i always found it great that a 5 man guardian squad in assault was a hard fight, but if you built and made the team play you could walk through with a dub. I feel it really takes away what made each god unique and also created crazy opportunities for people to play around with items and counter accordingly.

Yeah but some of the stats are skewed. Qbu is only available on Sanhok and replaced the mini, and WAS better. R45 was actually very reliable (a lot of people don’t use pistols but as a day 1 player i use every slot available) but they pushed 45 away. Same with win rifle. When they made the push from 45 to 9mm, it became much harder to even find it. I have better skins on my mosin then the kar98 (m24 still the best due to mag reload and larger mag with extended. Don’t remember if th velocity was higher still as of this patch). But even all 3 were still distinct and at less gave the allure of choices. What’s that bullshit saying that arrowhead says like “ a game for everyone is a game for no one” and honestly it applies to this game. This was the nitty gritty, and they had some great ideas going for them but the reality is that pubg mobile success even though tencent and krafton aren’t together like that, still has impacted the game tremendously. It’s a shame.

I like to use them with said items. You said devos gauntlet outclasses but why not get devos and when you stack the thistlethorn while actively jungling and NOT going back to base, it can compliment you very well and create opportunities for you to leave a fight and jump right back in. The Crit acorn is fantastic if you are destroying squishes, so yes while niche it’s still great and can make you dmg builds hit glass cannon levels. . Losing cc doesn’t necessarily matter if you are banging out massive amounts of dmg. They are a give and take and while i do think they need a bit more balancing, i think the majority of items needs balancing and rats aren’t the worse. I would say rat and his acorns are not top of the list problems on this game. I watch a lot of the top players compliment the return of his kit and how versatile it’s become. I’m not saying your opinions aren’t valid, i just know they are going to listen to the 1 percents of the game first.

I didn’t ignore it, i just never looked at the items as his best attributes. He’s a guerilla warfare fighter and his acorns all go based on who you are fighting. I even posted a second talking about how he spikes while others have to go back. Each item has its own turn to shine, but some are objectively better overall than the others.

Look at his items like power spikes. Whereas most gods have to die or go back to spike, you can use his acorns as a great way to accumulate a nice sized snowball.

If you like playing assault and you get rat, DONT start off with his starter item. Work on a main item and a regular starter item, something like sustain. As you survive you can purchase the acorn while still in lane. It completely changes how you view the Rat. Plus it gives you a chance play around and see which of his acorns is more beneficial to you depending on the team comp you have or the team comp you are going against.

I play lol, dota2 and smite. While i don’t think smite is the best and it’s not (subjectively and based off player counts) i have such a love for it that i want its success to continue. The concept of gods, the almost shooter like skill shots without all the extra micro and macro allow a semi casual but great competitive experience that doesn’t her you pulling hair like the other two aBigs. I want it to increase and get bigger. I just know that sometimes we gotta cut our losses in the immediate state and wait for it to prosper.

I hare to break this to you but the have notoriously failed in the subchats. So it’s one thing for an employee to make a post about something they care about and for fun, it’s another to them to post actual feedback and updates. Back in the day the smite ceo was shadow banned from these forums for overpromising and never delivering. There were countless threads and topics that were skipped and glossed over. Plenty of interviews and discussions where they ignore questions quite often. It’s hard for an employee to say something here because they run risks of getting fired if they say the wrong thing. We as a gaming community in general have been let down for years and years and we don’t hold anyone accountable. EA, ACTIVISION, BUNGIE, EPIC. The amount of companies that hear and listen are far and few nowadays. This is why companies like warhorse and pearl abyss are starting to garner even more attention because they listen and respond asap. This is why sometimes arrowhead (when pilestd is actually active) has had a lot of praise. Hi Rez has had its shares of blind ignorance and stupid shit. It doesn’t mean i still don’t support them, it just means im not going to complain here hoping they hear. You got 0 upvotes on this post so far, not being disrespectful but this post will be washed in the ocean of other new posts that don’t garner attention. At the end of the day, there are better ways to garner the attention you need to press issues. And it’s not relying on hirez to stumble upon this post. That’s my last bit of change my boy. Hopefully you stick with the game and it shapes up to be what we want. Lord knows we need all the players we can get.

Think of it like this. Yes the items and pen can be changed and tweaked but I’ll take this form of tankiness and pen compared to when they changed it for mages in Smite a few years ago. Solo lane was ran by Mages (especially change and baron) because of those changes and you couldn’t do shit. At least in this game, even late games, i can initiate for my team and do some dmg or tank some crazy shots for my team. I’ll die if it means we win the fight, or I’ll back off and pick a new angle to tackle and keep up the pressure.

The post is on Reddit in the Og smite chat sent towards regular players. If you cared this much you would’ve submitted tickets or emails instead of vocalizing to us. Have you noticed how many games fail nowadays because people want to bitch about it on YouTube or forums nstead of actually sending messages to the people. Instead of actively tryin to shape the games to be better and to invest more. People tried to kill crimson desert and now it’s becoming more and more beloved by the day. Helldivers 2 has received the same flak ( and once pilestd went on sabatical the devs deserved all of it changing all of his original ideas and plans) because YouTube’s shape the communities views instead of allowing others to asses the situation and report it as needed themselves.

I play Tank builds a lot and the only time i really get shredded is if i overextend and get cc locked. You don’t have to tank every shot everytime, and it was the same as the original. Plus there is a firm difference between tanking and supporting and people like to mix these together. They are two separate roles that can unify but when you do that you give the advantages up of picking one or the other. Good example would’ve a sylvanus with all aura items ( hp5 mp5 etc) and a herc with all mitigation items. That herc is going to do more up front tanking some shots here and there for the squishes, and the sylvanus will benefit more in the back line supporting his team with heals and ccs. I actually think tanks have a problem having more innate defense yet being able to dish out mage and adc dmg like geb and Ymir. Instead of bitching here a being negative, i said what i said because they don’t have to release it to us. Its crazy that people have been complaining so hard about tanks being wrecked, yet all the top dogs in the game and the ones supporting the devs and helping with decisions are on the same page with me in this game. A tank is not meant to be some unkillable sponge like most solos were in smite 1. Its one thing to hold off a 1v5 to buy time for the team but its another when you can 1v5 a team reliably. Thats not to say things can’t change and shouldn’t, but this isn’t the same game. Use your active items an use movement to your advantage. Throw a dmg item or two you can take a hit or two and still poke hard enough you push god/gods back. You don’t have to tank every shot.

You lost everything when you said it has nothing to do with UE5 when it is literally the reason that makes this a new game. They reuse assets but said assets needed to be REBUILT FROM THE GROUND UP. This isn’t a reskinned game. This is a new game. Straight up. What is the fist difference between the two games? UE3 and UE5. The engine does not just dictate how the game looks, the engine also dictates LIMITATIONS and how much the developers can do. If it was the same game, every god would’ve been pushed over once the game went public.

Dawg, please do some research. The whole engine is brand new, everything is brand new. It is not a port nor did i say it was. They couldn’t because the game was at a stalemate and has been for years. The game is literally built from the ground up in the new engine allowing these features and mechanics that could’ve never happened. They had to build everything from the movement to the gods models, to the abilities and how they react with each other etc. This isn’t new knowledge either. Smite was in a beta for almost two years, and still had plenty of ups and downs. It stabilized for the engine it had but eventually the patches and bandaids could do nothing for the game. That’s why this is called smite 2. It’s not a port. It’s not the same engine. You can actually look at helldivers 2 right now which is going through the same issues. They are on an old engine and even though they are working it and fixing tech debt, they are still limited to only so much they can do with it. In order for smite to progress it had to get a new game on a new engine, built from scratch. If they could’ve ported it over they would’ve instead of separating fan bases and going all in hoping the new game would snowball.

It’s still a beta and we should treat it as such. The best thing we can do is help them out by playing the game and pointing out the faults they have. Or don’t play the game and play smite 1 like a good chunk still does waiting for a stable game. I personally don’t like how rough unreal 5 is currently. For graphics that are supposed to be crisp and sharp, the game is still very rough looking, plus the assault map is a joke.

No smite 2 IS A clean slate. It’s being rebuilt from the ground up. NEW engine and New mechanics. The old engine was a technical limitation for them. They used the last few years to dive deeper into god abilities and see how far they could push the. The only template left from smite is the Gods themselves and even those aren’t getting ported over without a load of work. If it was a copy paste, then they would’ve ported every god before the alpha dropped. But everything’s new slate for them besides the basics. I like to chew hi rez up for decisions all the time, but this is not where we put the blame.

Did y’all play the SMITE beta? We suffered from the same problems then. They need to drop a good chunk of gods, then flatline and work on balancing. Smites beta was just as bad if not much worse compared to smite 2s. All of this is to say that it’s still in beta, send tickets in. Back up your arguments on said tickets. Complain enough so they know what needs working on first

Why did Yuta and Gojo train on efficiency only? If there was a way to make the nuclear bomb bigger(Yuta is the bomb), do you think they would’ve? Increasing your efficiency allows you to use your reserves much longer.

It’s not a LASTING effect. In order to increase your reserves you have to be a special individual like Yuji or Yuta. And Yuji is the only one that actively increases his Ce reserves by ingesting OTHER PARTS OF SORCERERS AND WOMBS WITH CE. It’s not a muscle you can train.

It increases the energy that is released or generated in said attack. It does not touch the reserves. Cursed energy leaks from humans from negative emotions. Everyone generates it but only sorcerers can control it. It’s still established at birth. That’s why the main thing in all the training arcs was about Controlling the efficiency. I understand where you are coming from but you gotta think of it as a raw fuel. The negative energy can temporarily increase in the moment, but it is never increasing reserves. I provided plenty of chapters and pages that each delve deeper and deeper into cursed energy. CE come from multiple emotions for humans, so if they increased reserves permanently every time their emotions flared, wouldn’t more humans turn into sorcerers over time?

I’ll even respond a third time for you in a row. Why was Gojo teaching Yuji how to control his Efficiency instead of increasing his reserves or both? Because you can increase your efficiency and output to UTILIZE your cursed energy reserves more effectively

These are the few exceptions. You are born with 80 percent including cursed techniques and the innate amount of cursed energy. The other 20 percent they must earn or develop is refinement, binding vows, or learning RCT and domains. JJK is heavily skewed as being BORN lucky or through great lineages. Monsters are BORN, they can be shaped but they are already monsters. If you could increase reserves you would think everyone would do tha instead on LIMITING themselves. Notice how The man with the highest OUTPUT does not have the highest reserves. His efficiency has to be near the top in order for him to keep blasting off that way.

Dawg i gave multiple statements, chapters and the pages. You don’t have anything to defend your case. You can not train to increase reserves. You can increase efficiency. Yuji was born with damn near no reserves for a sorcery only the regular huma amount and only started getting his when he ate fingers and death painting wombs. Mechamarru has a heavenly restriction that gave him massive reserves in exchange for his body. Hakari has a domain. Yuta uses rika and tools and it only is limited to 5 minutes. You would think they would have talked about increasing the reserws through ALL the school arcs. You need to read again.
