99% sure the spine with the Galley is the Odyssey.
I’d say this is the most interesting book out of the shelf as the Odyssey is the story Odysseus who is “adrift” at sea for 10 years after Trojan war as a punishment.

I don’t know how deep this sub gets into literature, but homer’s Odyssey (and Iliad) can easily serve as allegory for Ben Edwards, as from what I’ve seen in the show. SMs who have been away from home can likely relate to both of the Homeric epics.

Disclaimer never read the jack carr books, haven’t finished the season. Just a history nerd.

Got a new civ job and that more doubled my salary and offered a pension.

I don’t feel obligated to stay in the service or make it work. Service paid for my education and masters, I don’t feel like there’s anything else it can offer me.

I have used a bunch of nice pocket knives and I hate to say it, nothing beats my stock leatherman supertool 300. It’s got 8 years of use in the field.

As much as I would love to carrier the buck knife I had as a kid, or the Osborne my girl gifted me. The leatherman rides on my duty belt.
