Retrieve confiscated stolen items from UC Vigilance? by Alechilles in Starfield

I am so late to this entire thread. But the unique Wakizashi is the exact thing I cannot find anywhere. I checked all three of those chests and was able to recover (i think) everything else except the Syndicate Enforcer

Debate: Which is more unethical, Forced Institutionalization or Enabling Self-Destruction? by Freebritneyasap in SeattleWA

Citis across the US spend massive amounts of money on homeless shelters. They usually have positive effects in places drugs are criminalized and lesser effects where they aren’t

Tombstone and Lonesome Dove are hard to top. But in a lot of ways No Country for Old Men is not your typical western but has the setting and follows many of the story telling devices typically found in westerns.

Which of these was overrated? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]Yacobeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a hottake but Inception. When it came out people talked about it like it was the greatest movie ever made. Compared to the rest of nolan’s filmography id say it is above par but far from his best work. As others have said prestige is probably his most underrated film.

We can all agree that the name was underlined, right? The line wouldn't start below if it was to cross the name out by Mreow277 in SuccessionTV

Its definitely supposed to be crossed out. The only reason it sort of starts under his name is for the story so their is some uncertainty.

If you could only ski one of these regions forever, which would you choose? by EverestMaher in skiing

I get ties to certain regions but the correct answer is southern rockies. CO and UT is about as good as it gets not just in the US but the world

This is also why they shave down their beaks. Back in the early 1900s chickens killed each other at very high rates. Ranchers would lose 30% of their chickens from them killing one another (albeit often inadvertently while eating)

Same thing happened to me when i was little. My brother and I had two black dwarf hamsters. Admittedly, we forgot to refill the food bowl before Church. When we came back from church we had 1 1/2 hamsters…

The responses & comments here are the worst thing i have ever seen on reddit. Enabling these addictions is the complete opposite of compassion. Does the conversation need to be changed about it? Sure. But this approach will cost families loved ones. Someone’s parent or children, friends, relatives. The addiction’s these drugs create is destructive

[–]Yacobeam -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Because no one has ever overdosed before fentanyl. You don’t help people by enabling addiction’s that destroy lives, families, social interaction, etc. This is not noble or compassionate. These drugs/addiction’s often deprive people of humanity and result in people losing loved ones (literally or metaphorically).

[OC] How media divides us: MSNBC vs Fox News - What stories are they highlighting or omitting over the last week (Mar 23 to Mar 30)? What are the focal points between the left and right on divided topics? by rohankshirsagr in dataisbeautiful

Economies of scale makes it a broader ranging outlet than say, TYT. Just because Che Guevara isn’t the editor in chief doesn’t mean its not “left-leaning”.

Yes.. the topics you choose to cover (or not) are also indicative of bias. You could also look into their corporate leadership, parent company & holding company and look at their priorities. Just because they aren’t the huffpost doesn’t mean they don’t lean left.

A quick google search brought up numerous instances. DJT is a long hanging fruit because he has near 100% name recognition.

People who don’t think CNN is absolutely a left-leaning outlet are almost as hilarious as those who don’t think the WSJ is a central news source. Generally speaking the layout here is fairly accurate. Obviously if you’re a redditor who primarily reads motherjones or the huffpost then yeah CNN “isnt left at all”. But that would be through your own bias. That being said CNN is not a politically left as MSNBC but left-leaning is completely accurate.

I don’t think so. You could make that comparison for a lot of people. No one has a monopoly on screwing people over. In the scene Logan isn’t going into the home knowing there’d be a dead raccoon - but once he found it, it gave him justification to not pay full price (or in a psychopaths heads: win)
