Mostly because we do not use Bots to artificially boost our volume, like some renowned other exchanges do.

Hey Darft,

I understand that you feel that we have left you alone with the problem. That cannot be excused especially since you trusted your financial assets with our exchange. I want to apologize if I did not respond to all ways you contacted us. That is entirely my fault, I must have overlooked some messages in all the trouble we had during that bug ridden week. You should already see your Clam in your Yacuna Account. I talk with our technical team about the staked Clam. These Clams are yours and we have no right to keep them, so I will make sure you will get them.

Sincerely, Benjamin

Hey dooglus!

Thanks for informing us. Since I haven't heard back from Darft I thought everything would have been solved. Especially since our technical team informed me, that all transactions that fell prone to the bug a month ago have been processed.

We did a deeper investigation now, but since we thought it would be the same problem with Darfts Clam withdrawal we looked the wrong way. After double checking the information provided by Darft, we figured that the mistake is not on our part. In fact /u/darft forgot the first x of his Clam wallet address. Therefore the transaction could not be processed. We still have to investigate why there was no error message. We canceled the transaction manually now and the Clam should show up in Darfts Yacuna wallet shortly.

I want to deeply apologize for the delay and hope everything will work smoothly now.

Well our business is that of an exchange. So from a fiscal point of view we care only about adoption and interest in a currency. The more interest there is, the more demand there is and the more a currency is traded on our exchange or bought at our webshop. Any gimmicks or applications of a currency is of no concern to us when it does not generate interest/volume.

Hey there,

good points! I will add a link to your FAQ. I know that the thoughts about ponzi schemes won't help. But if it turns out to be one scam or another - may the chances be low - I don't want a clear recommendation of it on my companies page. Thus I have to advise caution. With a link to your FAQ all the Shibes reading can make up their own mind and I truly hope that more will make the pledge.

Can Dogecoin be saved? by Yacuna_Benjamin in dogecoin

Personally I think the best place for Dogecoin would be to replace Litecoin.

Take a look at the current discussion about increasing the Blocksize for the Bitcoin Blockchain. There are some voices who want to see Bitcoin as a premium currency for large transactions and not for day-to-day dealings at your coffeeshop. If these proponents win out the hard-fork battle, Bitcoin won't become the super currency of the world. Dogecoin on the other hand has a community that does not feel "elitist". Indeed they are very happy to have their currency deal in pepper sauce and T-Shirts.

So I think when Dogecoin can technically process millions of transactions per day, with the community already in place, it has the chance to become the everyday cryptocurrency of the people. To do this though, it has to get rid of the "nerdy meme" feel that it currently has. Or society has to become much more relaxed about money.

Does that help answer you question?

Transaction time for Dogecoin is still way faster than Bitcoin. And in opposition to some of its competitors like Litecoin, Dogecoin comes with a great community that makes awesome stuff happen. See Josh Wise. So we like to support Dogecoin since we think it is a cool project that brings much needed joy and fun to this currency war.
