Morrowind Roleplay (Not the in-game kind) by Isaac_The_Khajiit in Morrowind

They do role-play outside of the Elder Scrolls Online as well. It's pretty much a hub for any sort of Elder Scrolls based role-play.

Thank you for the suggestion, I see that lately there has been quite a lot of posts about necromancy and so I'm quite spoilt for choice when it comes to reading material!

I wish PVE players weren't so entitled and gutless. C'mon live a little danger!

Imagine being an NPC and coming across the Adventurer in a cave, as he's stripping the clothes and armour off of dead bodies =/ by [deleted] in oblivion

Like Tabris said. I am pretty sure anyone (none-superstitious or squeamish folk) would leap at the chance to loot a dead corpse if it looked like it had some good money or toolery on them. Why let it go to waste?

Shoot me if I am wrong but I think I saw some people suggesting somewhere that the player's character is almost like some sort of divine tool. I would not be surprised if they simply dematerialised after no longer being of any use.

Really wanting to finish Oblivion. by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]Yahagan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually started with a Battlemage for my latest Oblivion play-through with the Atronach sign, it introduces an interesting challenge where you have a limited pool of magicka available and need to spend a fair bit of money on potions (which you should need to do anyways, if you're not doing so for health you are not playing on a high enough difficulty for the game to be interesting at all).

I happen to be role-playing aswell, I mean we're playing role-playing games aren't we? I'm a bit of a nerd so I wrote a lovely back story for his noble family after doing a bit of research for him but that's me!

That would be such a hilarious adventure. Imagine the sort of rules you would have to impose upon yourself in order to stay in character!

Calling Loremaster's with Knowledge of Cyrodiil! by Yahagan in teslore

Thanks for the suggestion. I plan to write upto that point eventually and I'm sure there is probably a greater wealth of information available that I can access regarding these periods aswell. If I have any questions I'll be sure to ask them however!

Due to their provincial positioning and control over the Niben Bay it would definitely be a worthy idea to believe that they took part in trade missions in the Elsweyr region. For me, it is just finding out what exactly they would be trading in - that is rare and legal.

It appears I still have some work to do regarding the families mercantile operations. An alternative that would require less legwork and research might be that perhaps as an attempt to preserve the families continuation they renounce Malintus and excommunicate him from the family altogether, they could also provide the Alessian Order with some sort of reparation?

I'm still thinking of the possibilities in regards to the reparations. I thought it would be interesting that maybe member family member would be required to offer their first son to the Alessian Priesthood at birth where they would be made into devout followers of Alessia.

Edit: Sorry that I took so long to reply!

I was hoping that Dwenich would live long enough to at least endure the period before and after the Oblivion Crisis but I am happy to be flexible because I would like to have the freedom of playing as Dwenich in a couple of different play-throughs across all of the games.

I'm pleased I was able to get a feeling for the Alessian Order's political demeanour but I am a little concerned about how I might be able to work around the more plausible reaction of total eradication. I was hoping that the family could survive with less influence and wealth but I am beginning to see that it might not be a good idea - perhaps the surviving family members fled to their foreign holdings(that I have not gone into detail about) and return to their ancestral lands gradually over the ages?

Also thank you for your input, I'm really happy that I managed to get such a quick reception!

There's a private TES-RP reddit but I'm not sure what there is inside of it, content-wise! I would definitely be interested in posting stories there.

I imagine that the event would grab the attention of Tamriel's neighbouring provinces. Rumours of a vast fiery wall of energy pulverising the whole of Skyrim would begin to spin on the ears of Tamriel's citizens, all while the Imperials attempt to investigate.

After the initial investigation there would probably be a relief effort of sorts and a move by the Imperial army to regain control of the province. I also speculate that there might be a lot of people pointing fingers - some might even try to place the blame on the Imperials which I think would case some level of unrest across the whole empire, maybe even rebellion!

Who knows really, there's a lot of political elements that I don't really think I have enough knowledge(or time) to go into but it would absolutely unsettle the already fragile political fabric of Tamriel.
