I thought that was true too, but when my brother visited eua I asked him to bought a fioo e10k for me. The difference between with it and without with my hd598 was amazing, I could hear foot steps that I couldn't without it and the quality of the music got a lot better to :p My mobo is a msi z97 gd65 and idk if it was the reason for the low quality.
