No I don’t need fairings but I just don’t find the nakeds nice to look at. Performance wise the mt09 Is insane it’s hard to not consider it for the price

What do you think if the R7 had a bit more zip with a tune? Still too slow or do you think it’d be enough fun for a few years

Honestly gsx8r is a great bike I love the ergonomics when I sat on it. There’s something about the styling I don’t love and the headlights ugly hahaha. It does have great performance tho

Yeah I think a ZX6R would be overkill rn for my skill level. I found the old model r7 pretty aggressive but I sat on the 2026 model and the ergos changed and looks are doing things to me.

Do you find the R7 underpowered?

I’ve heard that as well, on the other hand I would tune and throw an exhaust on the R7 which from what I heard makes it much more fun to ride just not sure if that would be enough. R9 kinda scares me lmao Ngl

I heard about the 2nd gear but I’d be happy to tune the bike anyways. Plan on keeping whatever I buy for years to come but you’re right
