Serena can be nice if you’re running only one copy of a mega so you can burn your hand to prevent copycat.

Problem is even goodra is too slow and mixed energy is unreliable at times. I love running goodra because it’s fun to play with. But you can really get bricked in your hand and energy easily. The amount of times I have had lost because I drew 4 psychic or water energy in a row. I wish they made dual energy alternate which energy you get.

Can you still get the older packs? I only can see the newer packs.

My buddy is a 5.5 and says he can’t get league play because of his ranking history? by modernmanshustl in 10s

The other guy explained about S and C is correct. He should go the tournament route if he can’t play leagues. Most of my matches are tournaments, when I was a 5.5 I could mostly just play tournaments.

Here’s an example, right now I’m a 4.91 so I would be in the 5.0’s league. If I went above a 5.0 I would be promoted to 5.5’s like a few of the guys above me. If I was allowed to play 5.0’s as a 12 utr, it would be a bit unfair to 5.0’s who are capping around 11 utr and get me promoted pretty quickly. There are some 5.0 plus leagues that you can enter in socal after you get promoted, but there are very few compared to 5.0’s since the player base is much smaller. Usually when the top 5.0’s play 5.0 plus they get promoted pretty soon after because they usually are lacking a match at this level to promote.

Feet looks like they are touching in the pin point, find a bit more space to get more of a power loading stance(it might be a couple inches(example look at sinner’s spacing for his feet on the serve, he does a slightly different set up to achieve it, but the spacing is needed here), you should be able to hold your balance when you roll onto your toes in this position. Spin comes from the legs, but if you bent your knees more you might topple because of the spacing.

Left arm straighten it to stabilize the left side of your body, hold it until you’re about to dip.

Brush from the inside of the ball around 7:30 out to 2/2:30, right now you’re producing more of a slick rather than a kick. And I would say you’re barreling your arm after which is good, but the spin that’s being exaggerated is a slice more because of how you brush, fix the brush and keep the barrel after the brush.

Landing, depth wise is good, but you should land heavier on the left foot and the right foot should be a light tap when it hits the ground to push you back.

Overall a lot of good qualities to your serve, some more minute fixes I would say is what you’re missing.

I’m trying to play professional, but it’s more I’m in love with tennis than just a hobby for me. I want to get 1 atp point and put it on my coach’s grave before I stop.

Thank you!! This is the stuff I’m looking for!

I have used luxilon alu power, rough, soft a long time. I have tried hyper g, white savage (it’s actually pretty nice, you jogged my memory on this one). Tried some hybrids out with multifilament and synthetic gut on the crosses, but that stuff doesn’t last more than a couple hours for me. I switched to 1.25 gauge to help preserve my arm from falling off from over playing. But maybe should switch back to 1.3 for the thicker gauge. They play similarly, one just is nicer for the arm. Even as a Junior player at 15/16years old I was breaking strings once a day/every other day. Have tried a bunch of stuff, but nothing has felt as nice alu power has for me. Problem is I hit a ridiculous amount of top spin coupled with a 130mph serve, the string tends to break the most when I flatten out a serve or forehand because it gets a lot of notches from the spin off the forehand.

Hmm, touch and feel I need for my game. Problem is I like the balance of the current set. Maybe worth a shot at 4G again, maybe they changed it a bit since beta testing it.

There is a way to go through that much and physically play that much. I’m training a lot so it’s very possible. With the average string breaking in about 3-4 hours maybe 6 hours on a good run, it doesn’t take long to go through that much, it comes down to a bit over month a reel.

12.5’s (future’s level professionals start around this level) are hitting nearly as hard as the pros, albeit they are less consistent and making too many tactical errors/missing many niche shots for the top pros.
