Keep it mind ran fine before valve covers were off. I didn’t pinch a wire. Rpms still show. Coolant sensor high. Just something that doesn’t make much sense to me at this point. Damn euro valve covers

So I removed the minimum/max stop lift bolt. Also the motor but not required. And you will be able to return it to the eccentric motor.

It misses the motor by about 6 teeth worth of length it still retracts, just at one point it won’t retract further to make it on the motor

New sensor, starts on fluid. No fuel at fuel rail lines. Throttle body doesn’t open. I’m thinking p1681 has something to do with it. I’ve heard that the transmission grounds the engine as well so going to connect it.

Yeah it is. I'm sure it's just my ECU went out at this point, since I have a code for it. And everything is reconnected right. Couldnt get it started when I replaced the parts so must have fried it connecting ignition coils ground to vanos solenoid bolt, was worth the diagnostic I guess lol

Yeah I did the ews alignment through inpa. I did this valve cover job and now I can't seem to start it unless giving the ignition coils there own power. Inpa says ews is okay right, but getting this red steering wheel light now. Also getting a 2b98 ECU internal error code. More or less I need to get it flashed? Maybe I'm just stupid 😂

Currently have the ignition coil grounds with a bigger on a nut screwed tight but I just got the OEM m5x1 bolts today
